if the front tire blows at speed, will the tire wrapping around the front suspension break the drivers hands or arms? The more I look at the front suspension, its an accident waiting to happen.
will be more intenerated in your review when you have an opportunity to review it on some of the trails in your area, Ontario. Not sure its such a huge super machine , game changer of a trail rig in Ontario.... Just an upgraded 72" X3 with that new trans would be a bigger deal in our neck of the woods.
Do you think others will follow with a DCT? Lppks like the new Kawi might. What about for snowmobile use? The Fit and Finish of the MavR's I have seen are not up to BRP standards
@@dirttraxtv I've seen several Pro R's upside down. I'm not a Polaris hater either. I see what's in front of me. They might be a bit top heavy for serious duning.
1700 miles on the Mav R I have now, unlike to 900 miles I had in my old pro R. I definitely don’t regret making the switch to Canam, I was a Polaris guy for 10+ years.
whjat sucks about this machine this is all its good for you cant ride it on trails plus tire size is restricted plus the prices are just stupid period almost cost as much as my new truck if anything they need to put this drivetrain in a x3 something you can trail ride for about 15 grand less
i@@adampetten1009 i guess lets be real then i hope they dont build many then cause it will be a very limited market of people buying them 1 because of price 2 because of places you wont be able to ride it enjoy
Can't compare price to a vehicle, a ski boat may cost $40-100k A Harley motorcycle can cost $40-100k etc. You're not just paying for the maverick you're also paying for the entertainment and memories. For people who makes plenty of money and have a great paying job this $44k is nothing.
@@thelifeoffastony1157 sure ya can it will be a limited market of people that will buy this machine cause youll only be able to ride it in wide open areas or race it thats it and can am n polaris are finding out now like harley is that sales are down 37 percent cause nobody can afford to buy them thats the real problem anyone can buy this machine if ya want to just drive it in a desert you wont be on any trails with it
Now Polaris fits 290hp with a turbo and 2 year ls after that theywill put in a bigger turbo and hit 375 hp. Those numbers can't be made with a 3 cilinder and provide a warranty. Polaris going with a 4 banger will keep them as the hp king for a long, long time
With polaris, u need a long long long long warranty. Not so much on can am. The 900 x3 motor is most reliable powersport motor ever built. You kno as well as me, guys make 300 RELIABLE HP with it. The 1000 will be too.
Let's be honest Yes the Can-Am is a pretty nasty beast in itself but let's remind you that Polaris 4 cylinder 2.0 in-house engine is also equally just as robust and strong as a Can-Am's 3 cylinder. If Polaris is smart they will next year or so equipped a direct clutch 6-speed transaxle with a turbo make an easily 350 horsepower and then at that point will be king of the Hill till it's surpassed by somebody else. Also look at segways supervillain hybrid producing 330 horsepower and insane torque that will spank this industry at this time. It's only up from here.!!!...Food 4 thought...
So basicaly , its a car.. with honestly to much power in hands of some who can't handle that kind of power.. we will start to see lots of accidents soon in the woods... thats too large, too heavy and too powerfull... we just want to have fun in the wood with our quads without having the fear of being hit by these things
@@kx8960 theres a big difference between quads and sxs bud.. a sport quad dont even weigts twice as a motorcycle.. and its still nimble and dosent take much space in trails. Thanks for the location!
Good review, the new Can Am is growing on me. It would be nice if Can Am included a boost gauge.
It has one , press and hold the center of the touch screen for 2 seconds
so it's a dust buster. lets see it in the Canadian winter
