I really like that you have done so much preparation for this song. He is my favorite artist and he is one of the most popular artist in China now. He won second place in "Singer 2018", but he was the champion in "Singer 2020". Basically he is a rocker, but he can handle many different genres of music perfectly. His music has no boundaries with innovative thinking. Great singer, great composer and great performer all in one. He is the most versatile and unique artist I've ever seen. I discovered this incredible artist and thinker about two years ago and it's fair to say my jaw has been on the floor ever since. He is way, way more than your average rock singer. Pleae keep listening to and watching him because he will never stop amazing you. - his creative vision is huge and as you spotted his art is in the visual as well as the musical - just like Bowie. He is the absolute master of presentation and stage performance. I have seen many artists live and he is in a different league to all of them. Hua is an excellent singer, but he is much more as a true artist, composing his own unique deep, multiple genre songs like this himself... He is much more than an excellent singer..
So very appreciative of your background info on this song. It deserves the recognition for Hua’s hard work and the attention he gave to present this song. Hua is the most creative contemporary composer of this era. Yes he’s basically rock’ but has “Hua” genre because he can effortlessly mix all genre’s into one song. His stage performance is mesmerizing and vocals used in most creative ways. You have to see many of his performances to truly appreciate his talent. His talent in rearranging covers are great but his own songs are some of his best compositions. He did all his own songs except two on Singer 2020. On Singer 2018 shows his epic covers. Hope you continue your journey of discovering more of Hua Hua. Even if you don’t get much views do not miss out seeing him on your own. But of course we enjoy the live reactions as Hua is well worth reacting to. Do get the Eng subs on many of his performances on Hua Cheney English Subs as all his songs are carefullly chosen by him for specific meanings.

I have said the same in many comments that he does remind me a bit of David Bowie as they are both chameleons in stage presentation and performances. Hua is stunning. Please do more. The next one would be Madhouse followed by Conversations with martian children. He has so many different styles ( you will find out if you listen to more of his) but you are right. I know you study chinese but there is a fanchannel called Hua Chenyu Eng Subs were you can find most of his performances with eng subs. If you are interested. When he was in Superboy 2013, his list of songs was nearly all of Muse, Radiohead and 30 Seconds from Mars hahaha....his English wasn't good but he loves them. The programme mentor struck off his list hahaha.... When he was in uni, he performed Muse's "Unnatural Selection" with his band Kangxi....hahaha a Chinese lad doing a Muse??? Anyway, despite his recent announcement - shocking and wonderful at the same time - we look forward to his new works and wish him well.

(Today i found a Taiwan band called Shin, seemed to be good.) I now listen to music 24/7. He reminds me of both Bowie and Freddie. Hua Hua reminds me more of Muse rather than Bowie, have a listen to his original works or covers he does. 好想爱这个世界啊 is prob the ‘odd’ one out, but still one of my favourite song of all time, helped me out some dark times during COVID-19 lockdowns. Pretty sure he think himself is a more of a rockstar than pop. And he has impeccable stage presence, he is a real performer, absolutely loves the live stage. Im surprised you didnt mention he was on Singer 2020 again with Zhou Shen and he emerged the champion. In all fairness, almost everyone expected either him or Zhou Shen to win as both were just way too strong. Either would well deserve the championship. Regarding the band that partnered with Zhou Shen in the finals, err..lets not mention about them :/
