@MB212 Is there any trick to using the "special" overengineered nut-washer combo with the lights? I fit a new outer rear light (admittedly aftermarket, because MB has a shortage) and I only managed to get 1 nut on, the 2 other ones don't really fit. They should be m5, but have 2 markings on the nut, one round and one rectangular. Not sure what those alien runes should mean...

Are those yellow blub for turn signals? If yes, what is their socket?
    Ba15S or bau15s?
Thanks for the concrete video though!! Appreciate it!

Are those turn signals the same bulbs as the front blinker lights?

No seems these are special model you buy with the plastic. Could not find other information then (A2128260062 socket) from Mercedes part catalog. But it’s seems from google it’s complete with plastic don’t get what kind of socket name it’s got.

Tip for 2014 W212: If you re-solder the smd components, do not use/use carefully isopropanol to clean the flux residues. A small amount of isopropanol dissolved the glue and the plastic popped off from the light body, leaving some cracks to the plastic when it was bending a bit! A horrible job to glue it back! Well, this would be a way to dissassemble the whole light for a proper repair. I'm just wondering would other solvents (windshield washer, car washing solvents, ...) break the glue seam and let water in?
Also, remove all of the lead free solder with braid and use leaded solder and flux to solder the components back.

What year W212 is this and is this a rest of world of NA car? It seems that newer ones might have an led strip for non North American models and it’s just left an empty space in North America… here it looks like they are filament bulbs.

This is for Europe market. To my understanding is some different for the us market and some other place. The new facelift lamps here are full led stripes I believe.

I didn't expect this from Mercedes. Total shit just to change a bulb! Mercedes is not what they were in the past.
