I’ve just discovered your channel and I’m a fan! I was intrigued to see what you thought of the Champs Elysees fragrance. I love this fragrance. It’s one of my “signature scents” due to picking it specifically to wear at my wedding in 1997. My mom was a florist at the time, so hearing you describe the scent as smelling a big bouquet as it’s blooming really resonated with me. I was constantly surrounded with mixed blooms bouquets from high school to the age of 25. My wedding bouquet and wedding flower decorations were even a great mix of heady florals. Hearing your review made things click into place why this scent appealed to me, especially for my wedding. This scent also last almost 24 hrs on me (our honeymoon proved that)! To this day even my husband prefers me to wear floral scents because of this fragrance.
I love this perfume, actually it's one of my all-time favourite. I brought the new bottle two months ago, now it's in the classic bee bottle. I was just wondering why you and other UA-camrs don't make a review about it 😁. Thank you!
I love Champs-elysee I wore it in the morning going to work and it's a great one to start my mornings..I would get in a calm, feminine, focused yet relaxed mood. Love it forever!
love Champs Elysees from first sniff, i've worn it for many years, it's one of those forever perfumes for me! it's strong, so i'm careful to not overspray!
I love Champs-Elysees for it's unique big floral boldness. It's in my top 5 favourites. I agree that there's a lot going on but that's what I enjoy about it. I wear it with Jo Malone mimosa and cardamon body cream and I am in heaven. 😂😂
We're hoping to visit the flag ship store next month ! Were the prices the same as here in the states? I heard getting Paris product in Paris is less expensive but that is hard to believe when I saw your video on their beautiful store.
I had this fragrance years ago a found a nearly full bottle at my mom’s a few days ago. She told me to take it because she rarely uses it now. I gladly accepted her offer. I am a fan of this perfume. It is complicated in all the right ways. Classic, bold…yes. But it fits… I am looking to reclaim my fire and she helps.
Interesting! My sister loves this but says she got anosmic to it. I almost blind bought it yesterday out of curiosity alone but didn’t think I would get along with it. There are some florals that I’m allergic to. We live 2000 miles away from each other and I miss her. I think I was looking for something that I can wear when I’m thinking of her. But after your review I definitely would not like this perfume.
I hear that from ppl all the time that I'm a challenging person and hard to figure and I like that abt me😁 Maybe that's why I like this fragrance because u described it the way people describe me😅
I used to wear it. It was very pretty and I guess it was strong .Although at the time it never felt overwhelming. I thought about picking it up again but its been so long ago. I felt like maybe my taste has changed. I have worn so many over the years. The 80s put out powerful scents.90s I think they scaled em back more. Nice video
@x x I got Champs in 99 I think. I was just thinking of all the special perfumes of the 80s and 90s. New west was an amazing perfume too .Some of the flankers of poisen too. Tender Poisen was very 90s. Dune was a very cool fragrance when it came out. Although I never owned it. Every creation was very distinct. Most were pretty heavy hitters.
I tested it a few years ago and fell in love right away which is rare for me. It wasn’t smart, it was very pleasantly floral and a bit fresh. I do not like soapy scents so I must have not gotten any soap from it. I kind of forgot about but now I want to buy it. It’s possible o may experience it differently now, but I don’t care. Plus it harder and harder to find it and it’s getting more expensive 😢 So I prob better get on it and snag a bottle. From what I remember, I instantly thought it smelled French, in the best way 😀
I got the edp new bottle and this was also a meh for me. It has something raspy, rough and even ashy in the background that i didnt enjoy at all. Another perfume that reminded me of champs elysees vibe and i liked is Strangers Perfumerie - A sorta fairytale in Hyde Park. Liked this one a lot better. Have you tried it?
I just love your videos. And through trial and error, I guess the mimosa note is what gives me a splitting headache. Maybe the edt can be endured more easily? How I wanted to like this.
Curious how it compares to the EDT? I’ve gone through many bottles of the EDT, which I love, but am debating buying a vintage bottle of the EDP so would love a comparison.
thanks for the video .. the Champs Elysses Eau de Parfum (which I love) smells pretty different from Eau de toilette ( love also) ..I dont like the follow up fragrance called Too Much, it's very musk forward or something and I cannot wear it on my skin, sickening to me ,, I have worn it on scarfs or something not touching me and its pleasant .. thinking of trying it mixed with something else as a small percentage to see if I could wear it
Have you ever thought of doing a Fragonard video? I’ve heard Belle de Nuit is a better scent than J’adore, which it is compared to. Wish I could find samples somewhere.
With all de respect, you knowing all about the infamous street in Paris, you don't pronounce the "mp" in Champs......This is MY signature fragrance. There is NO OTHER fragrance. I ordered a bottle from Amazon - I wad not the same. Very disappointed! There it sits on my dresser. I LOVE THIS PERFUME!!!! ~♡~

💐 “Smacked in the face by a big bouquet!” 🤣
Guerlain is my second favorite perfume house, behind Tom Ford. I love Chaps Elysees, it's beautiful!!!!!!!!!!
I love it! It's my nighttime scent, beautiful bouquet, mimosa dominate to my nose. Love love! Hi, Arlene!
The EDT has been my signature for years.
me too

On my skin I love the smell of Champ Elise😁
One of my fav. I love champs elysee 💗
My absolute favourite 💓💞💕

I think in general they're a bit less expensive in Paris but now, after the pandemic, I'm not so sure anymore 🤔
You described this so well. It is certainly a blast of sharp floral but it is also beautiful in an edgy way.

I love your honesty!

I love florals and strong sillage perfumes. I need to sample it in the shop.

I appreciate that! Yes mimosa is a struggle for me too... :(
I've been so curious about this, thanks for your review! Sounds like it's not my style.

I love this scent wish it was still available to purchase in the USA

I hope I can find samples of the perfumes from Fragonard. I've been curious about the house for quite awhile :)
@@DeliciousDelights thank you!
This one reminds me of the old movie with a ghost fragrance that floods the room when the good.ghost is.present. In the movie The Uninvited”.
I don't think I've seen that one...sounds interesting!
Could you please do review of Lanvin Eclat De Fleurs? I prefer it to Chanel Chance Eau Tendre, would love to hear your opinion :)

I want to buy it now
It reminds me of a mom when it settles down
Yes IT is a Sharp perfum
I hate mimosa...on my skin it turns sickly medicinal and dirty
I don’t remember what it smells like but I do remember finishing the bottle! But we all finished bottles back then😊.
We did. We had a few perfumes not a big collection
