Sorry, but that professor is so out of touch of reality companies clearly set quotas. She even said it herself when she was in admissions. How would she know all that information about their history of their background? What are they personally interview them? She’s full of it.
Totally agree. All it does is ostracize people . Boxing in folks makes things worse and enables preconceived notions. It's almost like they hope people of color will feel the sense of entitlement that non people of color have in America. It seems like an American social issue or experiment. Why can't sharp, hard working people just get the job. I really think we continue to work amongst the confidently incompetent folks, along with nepotism, these people become leaders and make messes ... but maybe because they know nothing, they're malleable than a person that has good sense.
That lady is one of the clear examples of why academia needs major reforms. Our degrees are a joke meanwhile other countries are rolling out medical doctors, lawyers, engineers, scientists yet America is speed bumped into arguing over an imaginary issue. We're being allowed to be shot in the foot meanwhile other countries keep moving up and up. We desperately need to fix this.
Couldn't agree more. These people who support DEI, socialism, etc are absolutely ridiculous. I wish they could hear themselves speak. They use all these could be or probably statements to assume what other people would think and it just highlights the fact that they are racist or at the very least, obsessed with race when the majority of us are not. Her example of what people would think if a black person was acting goofy on stage was ridiculous and I wish someone would have called that out. She literally said, people would probably think all black people were weird or goofy while those same people would think she was just goofy if a white person was acting goofy on stage. That's so ridiculous and no one called it out. When I see a brilliant black person speaking such as Thomas sowell, I don't think all black men are brilliant, I just think he's brilliant. When I see a white woman speaking intelligently, I don't assume all white women are intelligent. That whole statement she made about people probably thinking a certain way was flawed from the start. I wish Dr Phil would have called that out. So ridiculous. If we could just get rid of these DEI fanatics, we could all move forward.
I'm not a criminal, but I have experienced injustice from the police as well, so maybe cops have just gotten very RUDE to everyone over the years? New York state is a haven for rapists!!
White men are the best! Most likely to be faithful and productive. When empowered, they are helpful, loyal, hardworking and handy. They created the modern world, for God's sake. I hate what's been happening to them and I believe there is going to be a massive backlash, which is long overdue, and it's going to be EPIC. It's ok to be white.
Diversity, equity and inclusion is a term used to describe policies and programs that promote the representation and participation of different groups of individuals. DEI encompasses people of different ages, races, ethnicities, abilities, disabilities, genders, religions, cultures and sexual orientations. It also covers people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, skills and expertise.
You are free to move to where other Marxists live. Go try it. Then write the book. I'll certainly purchase one that your new system would allow. Or would I have that choice in your politics?
My favorite fact about Marx, is that he got kicked out of his own country after they adopted communism, then after he died they made his grave "pay per view" haha! Capitalism at it's finest.
@Psych9589 we were thriving before DEI and CRT bullshyt. The liberal bigotry of low expectations has destroyed my community. You have told my fellow black folk that we aren't good enough or capable enough, and therefore you have to lower the standards for us and give forced quotas. It's sickening and guess what? We are waking up to it! We are seeing huge shifts with black folks moving AWAY from this racist nonsense and back to a more conservative mindset. Serious question for you-- why was my community THRIVING under Jim Crow era? With all that was against us, we had incredible education and literacy rates, extremely low crime, high financial stability, low divorce rates, etc. And yet here we are today not only completely free but receiving unearned handouts and special treatment and yet my community is doing terribly!!!
28:40 No ones suggesting we dont teach history, but do it equitably(to use their buzzword). Meaning if you're gonna teach about white men being evil to indigenous people, make sure you also teach of the atrocious acts commited by those same indigenous people against each other. If you're going to teach about the slave trade industry, be sure to teach them that it was their fellow black brothers that put them in chains to be sold. The selective history briefings and subsequent shame they throw at white people is a big problem. Natives were raping and slaughtering one another before we got here. Black people were enslaving one another for centuries before the bad white man did it. In fact there are more people being sold into slavery today than 200 years ago, many of which are coming through our southern border, but I digress. Please tell ALL of the story, not just the parts that push your "white man bad" narrative.
Additionally let's stop saying we and they. None of us were alive. It's like saying I have some deep Celtic identity when my ancestors were Celts. Means zero in modern America. I claim no pride nor shame in what someone else in my lineage or someone I don't know just being a fellow human has or has not done. It's a silly idea.
I pray for all of our children growing up in this world, dealing with such divided and hateful thinking. I pray we teach them to help one another with love and kindness, no matter what.
Having been told that although I was that the most qualified for a job but that they couldn't hire me because of the DEI requirements, I totally agree with this young man,,
At least someone tells you. I applied to a manager position and got denied even though I was more qualified and found out later through a friend that the other guy was his golfing buddy and white.
DEI was going on for decades by white Americans for decades and I am 62 yrs old when I was a boy white where doing this ,this is shamefully show .shame on you
The people desire a nation that is robust once more, which is a sentiment that contributed to Trump's victory. Priorities include education, morality, the rights of citizens, freedom of thought and speech, secure borders, judicial fairness, genuine rights for both men and women, religious freedoms, and protection by our government from adversaries, both foreign and domestic.
Nobody told him how to look for opportunity. Did he get rejected from "every collge" that he applied. Sorry, he sounds like he spilt his milk. He's not trying hard to refill his glass. He is stuck.
If you can't move your life elsewhere to go to a different school, and your field of study isn't offered online (I would pick something different) but I can see why he is feeling stuck.

My grandmother said “make yourself useful” everytime I complained or whined. It was the best things she could have taught us. We are productive people who understand the importance of service. It has worked out well😊
I went to work for a company that has a DEI program, they told me they hired me for my experience and expertise. Over the past 34 years I worked hard in a very competitive industry to get where I am at, and have educated and trained several dis-advantaged adults and youth. When I went to work for that company I constantly face with allegations based on DEI ideology because I'm a grey haired straight white guy, and that is all I was to them. It was divisive, evil, and insulting. A person's skin color and/or identity has nothing to do with their professional expertise and accomplishments in that industry.
Dr. Phil is the most neutral, intelligent person. I have been watching him with family since 4 years old, now 24. God bless those that defend the honor of our Lord. 💗
Mother Nature is the only entity that should be praised and respected! No imaginary being in the sky made this world! Mother Nature makes this world possible!!
No matter what the race, each individual has to earn respect. You can't genuinely give someone respect if they don't deserve it. Giving someone money isn't giving them respect.
I wonder how many black students would have agreed to give up being black. I love how he made an assumption about why the white students didn’t want to give up their whiteness. Most people like who they are at their core.
There are plenty of disadvantaged across the country; regardless of skin color. Level of family economic success can 'hold back'. Success in the labor market is not limited to 'a color'.
"DEI is not about quotas". What? That is ALL it is about. My idea of DEI: every applicant gets a number. Names blotted out. Top score on the test gets the job. Done.
My own experience working in a factory was that black people got easier jobs because they would blame whites for giving them one of the harder jobs because they were black. So I was a white female being put on harder jobs because I would do the job. I saw this many times and yes other white people talked about among themselves too. We had a black man in HR for a while and I heard blacks talk to him in the plant saying hey help me get this or that because he was a brother. I saw he felt the pressure from blacks and he eventually left that position because it was hard to be fair to all workers without blacks putting him down. That was 20 years ago, but it is a problem. Whites feel like they have to tiptoe around black workers. I am not racist, I respect all people who do their jobs and I wish we could just see people and not their skin color. One woman I admire most is black. She is black, she helps all people when she can.
You are the one who called color the disadvantage in your workplace. HR doesn't see color. At least what I have experienced. HR tries to keep people from complaining. Had you complained, perhaps, you would have been chosen to move out of the company, move to less paying position away from your issue, or written up for causing HR to do their job. You don't really know what circumstances for others existed. You only know what gossip you were told. It is like the person who tells you that they purchased a new electric Tesla car, 2025, and got it fully loaded for 40% off MSRP and low payments. When in reality, they paid 40% more for basic features and can't afford the insurance or the charger chord was lost and they couldn't afford the car payments because they had bad credit or no credit. They took a bad deal because it was fashionable to drive. The car is not a real Tesla, but an industry sampler with a name brand tacked on for survey purposes, designer. But hey, you will never know.
They can't do that because it would result in white people occupying the jobs they are placing black people in lol... Thats the funniest thing about it. They are actively just trying to ignore reality to push these lies and to divide america.
Why not stop forgetting American history. This guy is crying like a baby. I love Italians, Irish, Scottish, Germans West Indians and especially, black African Americans. 18th and 19th centuries were rough in the USA. No welfare. Only grit, good values and character. That, is USA success. Not one rejection then you cry about it. The white kid on the panel knows the past. People of his race, many different nationalities came to Ellis Island, and hustled and found each other. When they found each other, they helped each other. All of the races, collectively, did the same. Wnen races crossed over, out of the commiunity, they helped each other spiritually. Why? They knew what it took to find each other. The woman on the panel can not help him. She is an enabler. She can't show him how to look at himself because she doesn't really know what he is dealing with. He was taught to see himself as a struggling white kid, like his mother saw herself. He was taught that he is not like other "upper class" white kids. But he obviously was taught to remember he is white like the upper class white kids. Unfortunately, he wasn't taught that he wouldn't get chosen amongst them eitner. Why? Same race, but, different mindset. Money breeds money, priviledge breeds priviledge, guts will breed guts, talents breeds talent. Notice that the last sentence is not race. You can't get people to g8ve you opportunity if they can't see ability. When this kid on the panel does get a break, his break will be tough. Why, people in authority will want see if he can deliver. How do we know as an audience that he is worthy. Are we supposed to trust his crying racism. Is he race baiting?
@@babblingbrookieBut do they hold that against you, like you have attitude or there is a reason they wouldn't want to hire you if you checked the boxes? I'd worry about that.
I wonder how much of the millions of dollars that BLM solicited in donations went to improving those schools in black communities, and to supporting the families in those demographics to put an emphasis on education at home?- that is after the founder hired all of her friends and family members and paid them six and seven figure salaries for ‘consulting’ and ‘security’, enriched herself and expanded her real estate portfolio.
This kid is not wrong. There is very much so, reverse racism. I've seen it with my own eyes and have lived it. As a minority, who grew up in the hood and went to inner city schools. I have never once felt a disadvantage. Nor have I ever used my race or the situation I grew up in as an excuse to not do something with my life. Growing up poor and in the hood. All it just did was make me want to work 100 times harder to get out of that situation. I once got a promotion over a white man because of my race. Promotions at that time were through seniority not through merit because of our union and this guy had twice the amount of seniority than me. When I started investigating why and asking questions. They told me it was because of affirmative action. I almost didn't take the promotion because I felt bad over getting it because of that technicality. But then all the other employees told me that I deserved it. That I had a harder work ethic and had more qualifications than the other guy who was just lazy, did the bare minimum and didn't deserve it. So stop feeling bad about it and I took it.
I was turned down for a job once because my last name was Italian and the girl who interviewed me said no one will be able to pronounce it, yet she had a long Slovakian name -

I used to work at a huge company that held us hostage to DEI meetings. And trust me, it was hostage. It became so bizarre, with a white executive woman berating us about our white privilege (my mom grew up on a mountain in Appalachia with an outhouse that had to be cleared of copperheads every so often - haha), and about how she read books about her "whiteness" (I kid you not). Commenting anything but agreement made you unenlightened. I would leave those meetings feeling a little dirty for being born. It finally started toning down when the black employees began defending their coworkers. Hilariously, she'd blow off the black employees who disagreed with her statements and twist it around, telling them they couldn't see it because they'd been beaten down all their lives. Yes, she'd argue with the blacks over what being black was. It was odd. These were very talented and professional black employees that certainly did not identify as downtrodden victims. Ultimately, the black employees got tired of hearing their coworkers be bashed for their white skin and became increasingly more confrontational and defensive with her. She remained with the same condescending smirk on her face as the woman in this video who advocates for DEI. Yep, divisive in one way, but ultimately unintentionally pulling us all together in respectful defense of coworkers.
@tanyasidello7885 I can understand where he's coming from but he's definitely as of late been pulling the "I'm on everyone's side" gag. If he wants to stand for justice, he needs to stand with facts over being liked.
sowel says and writes lots of crap too lol i don't dislike him... he is what he and many famous best selling thinkers are. they write what sells... some are at the top.... samuel huntington and fukuyama come to mind too lol every knowledgable and smart person knows that they reduce things to the level of populist " debate depth"... there is this ex harvard economist who is cool ... forgot his name ... was the youngest prof economy at harvard... before being fired ( he is pretty black himself )
When the company demands these people, they hire these people and push others aside. Those pushed aside being white men. They literally wrote into the American rescue act that only black farmers will receive aid. Talk about racist agenda and lying about what the bill really is, when really it's racist legislation.
Exactly. That's when the script flips back to "well its based on ability and talent not out fault whites and other races aren't as good" ummmm ya let any other company say that about hiring 😂
I am a 52-year-old white woman who hasn't been able to get a job in 5 months now. Ageism is a big deal, but DEI focuses on more minority requirements, and a white, straight older woman doesn't fit that criteria. 🤷
The problem is people who are paying higher housing/rentals cost for their children to go to a better school. Those people are the ones who are trying to make sure no one can choose which school. I think they should be able to choose school if they’re in the same district. I had a friend who lived right next to a high school but couldn’t attend it because of the boundary lines drawn. Instead he went a high school where he had to bike three miles to everyday and was always late. I think students who are academically inclined or are not doing well given a toxic environment. Should be allowed to choose as well.
I feel one of the best ways to help the low income and minority succeed in corporate America is to teach them corporate culture. Executives in corporate America have certain ways of talking, walking, interacting. My parents taught me table manners, proper English, dressing for success. As a business of being a mobile RV tech my clients range from young families starting out to multi millionaire corporate heads. I am comfortable working with the range of people.
I was an English speaker who moved to the gaspe peninsula quebec for a decade as an illegal immigrant, learned fluent French, and assimilated. I'm a white Catholic. I thought people there would love me. However the racism I experienced on a daily basis when they heard my accent - from other white people - is worse than anything I've seen in the US. I came back to the US in 2011, and now I'm racist because I'm white. I understand racism, it's terrible but skin color isn't the only kind of discrimination. Talk about white on white racism
My husband is another example of this. He was a manager and one of his employees of color was consistently showing up late for work and took longer breaks than allowed. My husband had counseled her in writing on several occasions. She brought an EO complaint against him and he ended up being transferred from his position of authority and had to write a letter of apology. He was later told that he, in fact, was the one with the EO complaint because of how it was handled, but was told to not make an issue of it. This was in a federal govt position.
I’m not white, but this one is absolutely right! Our opportunities and rights are not tied to our awful histories, but what we bring to the table as contributions to our society is what matters a lot. Great thing affirmative action is removed.
Similar story in the late 90s I was a poor white kid. I had dyslexia, ADHD, and my home life was war zone so I was always struggling with everything that comes along with that… not to mention being picked on because my clothes were from our local dollar store, way to big or way to small because I grew out of them. My mom denied any help for my learning disability because she said dyslexia was just an excuse for lazy people. Mom had an undiagnosed and untreated mental illness, parents had addiction issues that left my sister and I to raise ourselves. It was frustrating to see my friends who were native, Hispanic or black got free college and housing meanwhile I worked full time at a job that would pay for my college but it limited what college I could attend and what I could study. I missed out on all the college clubs and activities because I had to work full time and go to school full time. One semester I had 21 credit hours… I had to have the dean of the college sign off on it. I explained that my work paid for my tuition and next year tuition was increasing and my tuition reimbursement would no longer cover the cost of college so I needed to graduate by the end of the school year. I graduated with honors… you have no idea what an accomplishment that was for me and how hard I had to work to achieve that.
Dr. Phil has been KILLING it with the episodes he's been airing lately - I think creating his own company has unloosed some chains and allowed him to discuss the real topics!!
Just because you can't get out a bad situation, that doesn't mean that the opportunities aren't there for them. Being poor is definitely not cool and it sucks. But that doesn't mean you aren't allowed those opportunities. DEI really is a sneaky way to just judge people based on their skin. Look at the things this girl is saying. She agrees with hiring on the basis of someone skill, but she also says you have to higher people that look different than you so that the workplace can feel comfortable with working with people that don't look like them. Listen carefully to what these people say.
I'm Caucasian/Native American, and my skin isn't white but a lighter brown, depending on the season. My daughter and her father were both Native American with brown skin. I can't speak for him as he's passed a number of years after we divorced. My daughter also passed due to a chronic illness at 10 years of age, 26 years ago. I hate the thought that the reason she or even myself would be hired for any employment for either our genders or our skin color/ethnicity instead of what we were able to bring to any employment, because somehow we were considered inferior to someone whose skin was lighter than ours and/or our gender. How about we remove asking those things on a job application or resume and let our experience and qualifications speak for us.
This is just my opinion I am so tired of hearing about race and racism enough is enough people are so obsessed by color of the skin so basically people are obsessed skin is an organ.
Companies don't need a "diverse" work force. They need a capable work force. Companies don't care what a person looks like or where they come from. Companies care if that person is the best person for a said position.
25:00 "I am not advocating for a quota system, when a DEI is done well it is not a quota system. But that is EXACTLY what it is, otherwise it would not have "Baseline Requirements"
People believe in DEI must explain why there’s inequalities in Government run organisations either standards or proportional resources. Until unless Government able to implement a set standard everywhere it’s impossible to address inequalities in society.
Im sorry but i graduated high school in 2002 in a very rual area and we didnt care about race at all we was all freinds we had finally made it to dr kings dream and now its just going backwords qnd im tierd of heari g african american European american asian american how about we all just american no one gets special treatment or treated diffrent at all it so sad to see how far down hill weve gone
The whole point is judging/treating someone different based on their skin color, genitalia , or sexuality and not their character and merit is WRONG. It doesn't matter if this treatment hurts them or helps them. It's wrong and needs to be abolished nationwide in every aspect of life. Any time you give a job, college admittance, etc to someone based on these useless characteristics and not on merit it makes society worse off.
I hate that term reverse racism and it makes no sense. Racism is racism it does not matter the color of the person who is being racist nor does it matter the color of the person on the receiving end. If you are making decisions based solely upon the race of an individual that is racist not reverse racist. Reverse racist would be the opposite of racist and therefore would not be racist. Words matter. And no changing the definition on Urban dictionary is not going to change what the word actually means
dr.phil talking about low income black kids and saying they have all these obstacles why doesnt he ever talk about low income white kids growing up in Appalachian is just as poor as growing up in inner city chicago
many years ago people like me who have a disability were treated like lessor and talked down to as in we could not do what everyone can do. over the years that changed and we were starting to be treated as an equal. DEI has not only set us back back it drags all minorities with us. "Oh you can not do what we can do, that's ok we will make it easier/dumb it down for you"
What company tells an applicant they can't hire you because they have to hire a diversity candidate? I've been a manager for 40 years, i would never discriminate a white or black because of quoats. And definitely would never utter that reason for not hiring them.
People need to look at abilities and not judge people by the color of their skin. I think part of the problem is based on failures of the past, i.e. I hired a ---- and he/she didn't want to work, take direction, etc. Any sex, creed, or color can be placed in that blank; if someone has a memory of something not working, they remember that, and unfortunately, it sometimes it plays more of a part than it should.
18:20 there is a study that shows cultural influences are overemphasized for minorities and underemphasized for whytes. Meaning that minorities behavior will more likely be attributed towards their culture and whytes are going to be most likely viewed as an individual. This study comes from the American Psychological Association.
Dr. Phil please help that young man to remove his rose colored glasses. He said, how does he know that a person of color is qaulified to be a position as doctor or teach, etc, "did they get there because of affirmative action or quotas?" Please tell him that people of color have been asking that same question since the USA turned to race seperation in the 1700's. Please explain the system to him. It is not only blacks who want opportunity, but it is American indian, hispanic who have been here long before white people, (remember the Alamo), Eskimo, other asian, blacks, women, gay. I saw millionaires (white male) who were passed over for other millionaire women. Why? Evolution. When somebody moves your cheese, you find it or figure out another food source or brand to enjoy. There are no promises in life and it is all about finding your way. Especially, if you get blocked. You are never too young, old, or the wrong color. Get moving.
Look at New Zealand as a road map for what happens when you attempt to make up for past injustices. IT. IS. NEVER. ENOUGH. As a country, as a people, we have to put our foot down and say, "Moving forward, this is a meritocracy." You can have programs or opportunities for lower socioeconomic status, but even out of that pool, things should be awarded by each individuals merit. Period.
Growing up I remember being taught all those things. I dont get what these folks talking about when they say that part of history is being hidden from the public.
Never mind DEI. People should start rebelling about the 10 minute commercials that yt podcasters are now inserting into their podcasts. Talk about corporate greed. Apparently, Dr. Phil is not satisfied with clicks for bucks. He now feels the need to hawk crap we don't need and don't really want.
I work at a university. I can 100% assure you that it's all about race and gender as the focus of diversity. We looked for a director of my department for like a year or more. And all the discussions revolved around "it would be good to get a minority (race or gender) in. They held many many rounds of interviews and very reluctantly wound up hiring a white person. But she was a woman so it was OK. I would highly doubt they ever would have given a white man the chance. And our DEI trainings include separating people by race: white people go to one room and BIPOC go to another. That's because they need a safe space to talk without our oppresive presence and having to tiptoe around our white fragility. No. I'm not kidding. Wish I was.
It’s incorrect that low income area schools get less funding and therefore create a disparity. As an example look at Baltimore. High poverty rate, predominantly black population with the worst education outcomes. Yet Baltimore was given billions for education to improve education outcomes. The billion dollar investment did not improve education outcomes. Money didn’t fix the problem. Our education system is outdated, broken and the curriculum is not designed to create critical thinking. We need to start talking about innovative ways to educate our youth.
I know of one workplace that is all about woke and DEI ideology. People often do not get promoted based on who they are, it's about what they are. Needless to say, the best person for the job often doesn't get the job, and the person who did get the job often got it to fill some quota or BC of some diversity narrative. It's actually insulting to all involved. True equality is putting all people on the same playing field, treating them as individuals, and letting the best person win. Aka a meritocracy. The place I know of is so demoralized that all the best most experienced people no longer even go for promotions. It's a literal trainwreck in slow motion.
This has been going on since the late 1980's. I remember looking at the grad school scholarship programs in 1996 prior to finishing my Bachelor's degree. I was a Deans List 3.5 GPA student and combat veteran. The GI Bill and Army College Fund paid for my 4 year degree but I wanted to go on to grad school. Yet every graduate scholarship opportunity had a list of requirements starting with female, or black, Hispanic, Asian, pacific islander, etc... They could have saved some ink and just said White Males Need Not Apply. Every program was race/gender biased vs academic or service based. I wasn't looking for special treatment, just equal consideration and not exclusion based on race and gender. Then after re-joining the military, the same gender/race bias was in full effect with awards and special opportunities for anyone not a white male. Then there was the promotion boards........????? Yeh....... I'd love to start a grad school scholarship program for veterans not based on financial need and not race or gender.
19:30 "DEI is about helping disadvantaged groups."
How about helping disadvantaged individuals?
Absolutely
Sorry, but that professor is so out of touch of reality companies clearly set quotas. She even said it herself when she was in admissions. How would she know all that information about their history of their background? What are they personally interview them? She’s full of it.
This.
There is no individuals in Marxism.
That’s true, we should see individuals first.
We have fought long and hard to get rid of discrimination. Dei brings it back!
So true and why DEI needs to be put back in its on lane 🤦♀️
Totally agree. All it does is ostracize people . Boxing in folks makes things worse and enables preconceived notions. It's almost like they hope people of color will feel the sense of entitlement that non people of color have in America. It seems like an American social issue or experiment.
Why can't sharp, hard working people just get the job. I really think we continue to work amongst the confidently incompetent folks, along with nepotism, these people become leaders and make messes ... but maybe because they know nothing, they're malleable than a person that has good sense.

💯 accurate
You don't know what DEI is

This is what happens when society starts valuing women’s opinions as equal to men’s.
You do know many come here for higher education and then go back to their country once completed
Dr.Phil - “i don’t care about how you feel & frankly i don’t even care about how I feel its the facts that are important” … realest bars ever said
unfortunately, feelings seem to be swaying how the facts get represented
The young man is right and very brave for speaking out about it.
I'm not a criminal, but I have experienced injustice from the police as well, so maybe cops have just gotten very RUDE to everyone over the years? New York state is a haven for rapists!!

EQUITY IS MARXISM
I agree with you 100%
You are free to move to where other Marxists live. Go try it. Then write the book. I'll certainly purchase one that your new system would allow. Or would I have that choice in your politics?
Yes it is.
My favorite fact about Marx, is that he got kicked out of his own country after they adopted communism, then after he died they made his grave "pay per view" haha! Capitalism at it's finest.
This fact I found from the UA-camr "the fat electrician"

Did dei ever intend to improve anything or was it just another way to complain about not getting more than the other guy?
Exactly, they want something nothing. Didn't earn it=DEI
Well said ❤
👍 Agreed.
So true. I am half Caucasian and half Native. Many people are mixed at this point in history. I see both sides.
Just because you fell asleep during history class does not mean that the history teachers did not talk about this. White guilt is so real.
This podcast has been one of the biggest positive surprises of 2024. Great stuff.

@@Psych9589 Now that would have really pissed me off. At least, in my case, it was obviously a purely racial issue.

Happened to me as well for my literal dream job. They didn't have enough black applicants so they couldn't hire me.

Daniel clearly expected to have a college experience that did not judge or exclude him based on the color of his skin.

So you are being discriminated for being white? Would you want to change your condition with the one of a black person?

There are plenty of disadvantaged across the country; regardless of skin color. Level of family economic success can 'hold back'. Success in the labor market is not limited to 'a color'.

Thank you!

@andreeallen3311 what do you call others who aren't your race?
Why not make application systems without name, gender and color? Only the important thing as education and experience.
They can't do that because it would result in white people occupying the jobs they are placing black people in lol...
Thats the funniest thing about it. They are actively just trying to ignore reality to push these lies and to divide america.
Not a bad idea to be honest

School choice NOT public schools give disadvantaged students far greater opportunity regardless of race.

Show me a civil rights/equality movement that didn't start out legitimate and devolve into "now it's our turn."

And no changing the definition on Urban dictionary is not going to change what the word actually means

many years ago people like me who have a disability were treated like lessor and talked down to as in we could not do what everyone can do. over the years that changed and we were starting to be treated as an equal.

Get moving.

This woman is full of it!
Equality is a general, ideally universal condition. Equity can only deal in the specifics of circumstance.
