I agree that the roller coaster needs to be renovated. But for your people to ask that it shut down and be sued is disgusting. Castles and coasters has been apart of our community for decades. For Those of you who don’t live here in our area shouldn’t have a say.
Really? Their ride randomly had a restraint come undone and a customer had to literally jump out of a moving coaster that was about to plunge from the highest point of the ride, to escape his literal death lol…of course the ride needs to be shut down until they can figure out how this could have possibly happened and how to prevent it from ever happening again. Considering the age of the ride, it makes sense why people would rather it just be torn down to build something new. Coaster enthusiasts are all over the world btw, so expect to see many from those outside your community offering their opinions on the situation. There’s nothing “disgusting” about that. As far as a potential lawsuit goes, not sure I would go that route myself, however, this guy just saved this park from a massive lawsuit and A LOT of problems, yet all this guy was offered was a measly refund. Who knows what kind of mental/emotional trauma he’s experiencing after something like that? At the very least, the park should have offered to pay for any kind of medical bills incurred as a result of this incident, should he ever decide to go to therapy.
This is insane. Shouldn’t the coaster automatically come to a stop once a lap bar or seatbelt comes undone? And just a refund?! JFC, you’d think they’d give him a little more than THAT…considering he just saved them from a massive lawsuit/insurance payout for one of their rides essentially killing someone. 🤦♀️

@wickedsickfunkyfreshroller2037 ^ exactly what you said. You need to hold those accountable for near misses, just as much as actual incidents. Why wait until someone is harmed before you react. Imagine it's one of you're loved ones, your children who nearly died, you wouldn't be so chipper then
I mean come on, the guy looks like he’s push 4 bills, he shouldn’t have been allowed to get on the ride in the first place.
