there is a large variety of wheel setups and ffb "taste" that sims need to try and account for hence the middle of the road default ffb profile and it doesn't help that moza is a relatively new company in the space. I know it's not ideal but it's unrealistic to think an early access sim title should have finely tuned ffb presets for all wheel bases when there are bigger issues
They need to add some good default FFB profiles for all the most popular wheels, when I first tried it the game felt terrible but after some tweaking now it feels amazing!
Bugs aside. The difference between a simcade that drives for you and is optimised for controllers, and a sim, (even with the current early access set up bugs)
Don't expect plug and play from any sim, gone are the days we all had g25s lol, We all have to tinker to get a game to feel how we perceive it should feel, after all, thats why we spend a fortune on this crazy hobby 😜
“I’ve never had a game simulate a flat spot before.” You have, but you’d have to have driven real cars to experience what that’s like in real life other than your Prius.
A fair response but as others have commented everyone has a different idea of what is good FFB and even different hardware. But overall I felt the same way the Porsche GTE was just amazing to drive and I would even be happy just doing laps which I wouldn't do in any other sim as I normally hate it. And yes much better menu than Rfactor 2 which seems like it was designed by a dyslexic chimp.
Just to quote Alberto Naska: "I've been racing in real life for 7 years, over 120 races, so many different cars. I think I can do a comparison between virtual and real.... iRacing is the worst simulator of all. Especially the tyremodel has nothing to do with real life, while the best in my honest opinion is rFactor 2."
🤣🤣🤣RF2 is a joke...nothing feels real in this sim...IRacing and AC on the other hand feels absolutely like the real deal. And yes, I Race IRL and on Sim. BTW most real racers use IRacing...of course its not all perfect but its the closest you can get to real life😉
Well, this is a pretty nice compliment to IRacing👍 Donald Duck is pretty close to real life. Maybe you should visit a lake and you will learn that ducks also exist in real life.😉
So Donald Duck is a documentary about ducks for you😅 I just look how racecar drivers do their steering corrections and in iRacing it's not needed and just smooth movements are fast, the opposite of reality. Watching rF2 or LMU looks a lot like the real and even Forza Motorsport does, but not iRacing.

Yeah tweaking is very important

I feel like Prema must be regretting signing this Alex Gillob for their WEC campaign. 😄

The LMP2 cars use the old tyre model from rF2 , the Hypercars and GTE use a newer model .
Any evidence for this?
That's BS. The rF2 LMP2 slides a lot more and colder tyres have better grip.
Creator series Le Mans special anyone?
Remember guys, this is NOT the final version of this game
You Havnt tuned the ffb properly it’s far better than acc and iracing.

iRacing is as close to real life as a Donald Duck comic.

Game has too many issues, even for an early access game. Gonna wait half a year or more before I try again.
Simracers of the new school don't know what problems are
