Literally just finished building my copy while I await hurricane milton at my door. Very fun kit. I kills me the Gyan rarely gets any love, but I always appreciate how much love goes into each update.
One thing the Seed designs delivered on was the just general porting over of their UC counterparts with obvious changes made to have them fit the CE setting. The Gyan just continued that.
I see I'm not the only one who groans when I see a lot of stickers, especially tiny ones. Tweezers are pretty much mandatory for me when I do a build with stickers.
Please, someone tell me you can purge the backpack. This Gyan to me is an Ok if I dont look at the face too much, but those chicken wings on this one and the Gelgoog... 🤦 The shield its too cool btw
The beam rifle on the right hip seems problematic with the stock banging into the shoulder. Hope the rifle could've fit behind. Indeed though, the handle for the shield is a Godsend. It's worse than how Shenlong bangs into its own shoulder, I think. Nice, overall.

I don't have the same shade of blue, but I just painted the trim parts on the backpack. Was fairly easy to paint too.

Can you do a tutorial masking and painting for the backpack as well as a fix for the swirly gold on the shield?
I’m more into the design seeing it posed up, some of the sample images didn’t sell it so great. Seems like a really nice kit though

funny how they actually made a good looking gyan head with the gyancelot but gave it a friggin cone head for this
"Strom" is not a typo of Storm, it is German for "Stream" as in a like a river so "Gyan Stream".
Anime uses a lot of German. It's roots are in German advisory during the Meiji Period.

This could definitely use some detail painting for those blue and red areas. Stickers dont do it justice.

As much as i Hate the Gyan this kit won me over it is a amazing build and was fun to build and the new version for the Seed universe is awesome !

Hello ZakuAurelius, I think you need to change the name to 'Strom' instead.
You can spot the CE technology over this kit, however the design is too obstructive for something originally design as close combat focus unit

Nah that's one of my favourite things about ZakuAurelius is that he doesn't chase trends and also review kits from other brands
