Nice flight. Wish we got a little bit more info about this speedy plane and performance since you were flying a unique propeller plane with most time to climb records. Thanks for the ride.
@@KFEAvia They look like MT propellers. I saw one video where they had an experimental 11-blade propeller on a PA-31T and it sounded like a jet engine. I asked MT about its availability and they don't sell the 7-blade or 11-blade; only the 5-blades.
The 400LS has such stellar power to weight, it’s really unmatched by any other airplane. Single engine it’s 12 lb/shp which means this plane has seriously useful engine out performance. Perhaps in a future video you could comment on the engine out performance!
Awesome! Stunning flt! Beautiful airplane. Your 360° camera under the belly making perfect shots is an absolutely great idea! Appreciate your business.
Hi Konstantin, great vlog as usual. This 400 is a beast, and even more interesting is that you land in my hometown, Lugano. Next time that you come here I'll offer you a good cup of coffee! Luka
Hi Konstantin, what a beautiful airplane. It looked new as it was so clean and Shiny. The weather was perfect and really liked the Camera view from the Belly of the Plane. With the Sunshine you could see the reflection from the Plane body and the Propeller. Your Approach into Lugano was stunning as well. We got a really nice view of the airport Runway on approach. Beautiful weather flights like this make up for when the weather is bad.
Hello Konstantin, always delighted to see your videos...Excellent flight on Piper Cheyenne, superb plane, and short distance between Cannes and Lougano, two different places that I really appreciate...! See you soon.👍🤩
🤣 - cool ... on the pushback truck with the mandatory coffee - perfect! And the camera from below - was a great idea - great shots 👍 Looked almost like the Blue Angels 😝
Beautiful flight to Lugano Konstantin! I like that Cheyenne 400. First video I saw of you was the Atlantic crossing in a Twin Bonanza, really cool vid!, as the Cessna 421. I like GA piston twins. Fly safe! Greetings from TX
@@KFEAvia I used to be around GA airplanes back in my country Venezuela before moving to the USA, since very young age, so piston twins brings back all those memories. I would say some corporation fly those 400 series Cessnas, and ...wealthy people as well. You remind me of a good friend of mine, son of german parents. :))
Ahhh... thanks for the trip down memory lane! When I was still young and beautiful 😇 and flying for Crossair we developed the first instrument approaches then (late seventies / early eighties..iirc). Looks like the ILS is still quite similar to then... glidepath was 6.5 degrees and at the minimum you still had to dive to a PAPI to get into a 'landable' position. Before that we started with C-421's, cancelling IFR over Saronno VOR and then scud run below the clouds via the lake and a quite marked s-turn. Later we used Metroliner III's and finally the SAAB 340. Challenging times indeed 🙂. Beautiful plane you took there btw! And many thanks for the video!
@@KFEAvia I think Crossair operated the Fairchild Metroliner at the time he mentionned. Lugano was the bread and butter in the early days of Crossair because there was no comparaison between an aircraft trip and a train trip (guess about 5X)
I flew the Cheyenne III. Always wanted to fly the IV. Love everything about that aircraft but the Garret’s! I had my fill of them flying the Commander 1000 and MU2. The Pratts are so much nicer to operate.
Again I enjoyed this flight with most beautiful pictures and informations! Thanks a lot! How do you manage to fly all those different type of planes? Do you get a special training before you start flying?
Heeey, thanks! Views are amazing on thous route IRL :) I do get training, either self training or from a certified ATO. Self training includes reading manual, watching someone else's UA-cam, talking to current pilots on this type. :)
Hi, nope, its like 150€, but i think the rules say you can use the grass stands if your wingspan is below 10 meters and weight below 2 mt, then you need no handling at all.
I couldn’t get my eyes off the landing gear under the wings. To me it seems the landing gear under the wings is getting dragged by the plane, while it’s wheels are perpendicular to the direction the plane goes. Or is that a 360 camera distortion? Still I couldn’t see the wheels turning, except for the front wheel. But also no rubber was burning. 🤔
Nice bird and you are so lucky of having the best job in the world …. Be happy man ! I only fly in MSFS on VR and sometimes skydiving 🪂 when I have money ! 😅
@@calinutza33 heyyy, Calin! Could be, just moat of i could say about the aviation - i said, don’t know what else can i bring in. Suggest if you have something in mind :)

Will definitely do it in the next videos, it was short and a bit chaotic, this flight so no time to talk about the performance :)

The plane was recently painted, therefore looks fresh, how many years would you estimate this plane to have?
@@KFEAvia It is hard to tell with the renovation but I would say 25 to 30 years old.

Years ago I had CL-601 recurrent with that cat that owns Universal Avionics who was based in Lugano. He is a great dude and loves that area.

Indeed, but its such a coooool plane ❤️

I would have liked to have seen the landing with the belly camera, it would have been really cool.
That's a great landing! Can this aircraft reverse thrust when braking on the runway?
Oh yeah, the reverse thrust on this one is AMAZING, it even does go to a beta range.

Good question, hard to compare if it would be light paint, also because if has no window on the PICs side, so it does really get quite hot inside :/
