Beyond The Pale 2023 - our tent leaked!! First festival of the summer 🧡

Sooooo festie season has finally begun for meeeee. We're starting off with Beyond The Pale which I hadn't been to before. It's a small festival in Glendalough and I would loooooove to go back again. Our tent did leak and things got soaked but we also had really loud neighbours that kept us awake all of Friday night so we had to leave on the Saturday night. So that was a bit of a bummer but we made the most of it and the time we had there was honestly amazing.
Next up Glastonbury!!

Ugh nothing worse than bad neighbours . Yes it's a camp site but more reason to be mindful and respect the fact you are in close proximity to others. Selfish!
Without sounding patronising, it's good you recognise when to rest and not push yourself too much so it affects your MS, as sad as it was to miss the Band you wanted to see, yiu prob wouldn't enjoy it if you are at that point of needing to go home and it will ruin the experience for you and then you'd just feel shit after anyway.

Yessss completely agree, there comes a time when you have to consider other people around you.
1000000%, before MS I used to always just push through things with little sleep but I just can’t anymore and it’s honestly not worth it. I wouldn’t enjoy it and then I’d be in an even worse way if I stayed.
