I am also wanting to know how the other parts that are on this die are used in the journal. There is no instructions with the die & apart from the little decorative tab that the elastic runs through, I have no idea how you use the other two pieces. I have been looking on other videos but they are not mentioned. As you are the designer of these dies I would love to know how you imagined them being used as I am wanting to make a journal for my daughter. And I also want to make some for where my mum works with dementia patients do that they & family can make notes in it or add photos to help them when they worry that they have forgotten to do something or feel forgotten as they forget loved ones have been to see them. So I would love to maximise the use out of this die. Thank you

Hi Becks, I didn't design the die, it was designed by Eileen Hull, who is one of the amazing designers that work for Sizzix. She has a fabulous blog, and if you are on FB please look up her group 'the Eileen Hull Fanclub', there is a ton of useful information and inspiration there on all her dies.

the journal is cut from Sizzix Mat board in white, then I've stuck Sizzix texture roll on top (also in white)

I'm having trouble with cutting plates not going through with this mat board!!! Any help out there???

My plates are new and so is the die, it will cut grey board with no problems , but not the mat board???
