I would make the fitting really loose and use double sided tape, close the door and it should stick to the cabinet door, drill the pilot holes and remove the double sided tape and install. Nice video!
Got a tip for ya, instead of using paint marker. Put your latch on the cabinet, use masking tape on the cabinet and make a center Mark. Close the door and line up the door piece with the center mark. Works perfect every time.
Those look much more durable. Hadn't thought of using marker. I've also found play dough works well for marking where to drill holes. Good to know other options.
How about the idea of putting two short screws in the door catch (if needed, held in place with masking tape) and clicking it to the frame catch, then by closing the door, the two screws will produce two indentations in the door?
Did you skip a part? at 3:48 How do you know how far into the cabinet to put the initial piece? (how did you the measurement from the front flush of the cabinet door?)
Best latch is...metal plate on one side super strong magnet on other. Done. No handle. No rattle. No dishes on the van floor. Just sayin.. and congrats!

Putting these latches on a drawer already installed is what I need to find out about, a door latch is much simpler to show.

Another great idea among many.

Great video! I love the step by step videos they are so helpful!!! Thank you!!!!
Great video! You guys really do a superb job explaining\demonstrating... thanks for the helpful insight!
Thank you!
Threadlock those threads on the Japanese ones! If the screws for adjustment fall out you might lose them forever like I did.
I find nail polish works a little better to mark where to drill.
Thank you Sara and alex ❤️

Amazing information, thank you so much for sharing.
So uh in 6/7 years I want to have a van to have van life do you think you guys are still gonna be open ?😖
Great info on door latches and I love the adjustable feature it has! #SAJ
Which ones do i need for drawers. Thankyou :)
Grease pen or lipstick works great.
On the top Cabinets what hinges on the top??
Does your layout guide include information for a Ford Transit conversion?
Are the ball latches much stronger than the 20 pounds magnet ones?
Yes much stronger
Blu-tack works better for marking up but they don’t hold the door strongly (at least the ones I bought didn’t) even with the balls tightened up.
Thank you so much for sharing! 👍😍
So, what latches do you use for a stack of drawers where there is nothing to mount to above (between) the drawers?
we always have a face frame on the cabinet so there is something to attach to with drawers
Omg we need these!!
Look at you! Baby Bump!!
Baby is definitely growing!!
Just one in there right! Yikes!
