Hello again, Rupert. Thanks to your review on that book, there now is a little more than 3.9 kilograms of freshly arrived Moriyama-books on my living room table, just waiting to be thoroughly examined by my curious eyes! I invested in both of them... Jan Robert Bøe, Norway
Your Moriyama inspired photos are excellent, Rupert. This inspires me to do the same. I have been a point and shoot type, with mixed results. But the law of averages correctly means one gets enough keepers in this day of digital to keep on just shooting away. Occasionally I have gotten a really good photo even when i haven't remembered to change settings for the light. Great video, thanks. to change settings
Chapeau, Rupert - for your pictures "in the style of... DM"! Or are they? I see YOUR talent, those photos need no comparison. They are in the style of RV!
Thank you for your useful reviews and thoughts about street photography, as always. You mention 424 pages, but however, I cannot find others than 352 pages versions for sale. Are there different editions out there?
There is a prequel to this book called Record (still in print) which does have 424 pages. That book is equally as excellent as this second volume Record 2. 👌🏻
60 years of photography!

happy to see my favorite youtuber talking about one of my favorite photographers!

Thoroughly enjoyed that. You’re one of the very best photography UA-camrs out there, always something to learn and you back it up with great images 👍🏻

My mistake, it is 352 pages, apologies, have trimmed the video.

My favorites, in Europe Léonard Misonne, in America Vivian Maier, in Asia Fan Ho. For me, they are idols of photography.
Lovely thank you. Amazing photographer, a bit to harsh for me, prefer more atmospheric type images like Fan Ho. Thanks for sharing.
