As a game dev "Not for LIS I wish lol" I can help explain a little as to what the black boxs are in the leales build. They are more or less flat planes (4 sided rectangles) that are used to fake god rays from the sun comin in the window this is done to save on resources for the gamea preformace while still being able to make it look amazing, they are physical objects with their collisions turned off with transparent or masked texutres where the fake lights would be set this is why we can see them coming only from the windows. In very simple terms fake sunshine 🌤
WOW those unused endings!! really a lot of wasted potential with nathan’s character in the final game. i love these videos and can’t wait to see the future of your channel!! 😊
i agree with you, but if they did that this would ruin the plot twist of episode 4 where jefferson is shown as the bad guy, which honestly made an already awesome epsiode even better, but i'm quite curious to see how it would've been if we could've tried to stop the storm, the whole thing with how we treated the characters affecting wether Max stays alive or not is actually genuis, because the whole premise of the game is that Max uses here power to uninentionally manpulate people's opinions of her and making them like her.
@@hmody360_2 totally agree on max’s actions affecting the overall outcome/her fate being genius, i wish they left that part in!! it would really encapsulate the whole point of the butterfly effect in a way i think would almost be more impactful/personal than the ending we got (since her every action/how she treated people would determine whether she/the town lives or dies instead of only one of her personal connections being the determining factor). i think it would have been possible to do more with nathan’s character/have an opportunity for redemption while keeping the jefferson plot twist intact also! seeing as nathan was a red herring for most of the game, it could have been cool to see his role extend past secondary antagonist and more into antihero/“bad people can do good things” territory. i also would have liked to hear more of his story from his own mouth, seeing as a lot of what we hear is secondary info/learned from jefferson (who we know is a psychopathic liar). also would have been so sick to see all the prescott foreshadowing all go somewhere rather than have all the puzzle pieces scattered throughout the game with no actual conclusion! so so many things left open-ended in the end product, but i love it because it leaves so much room for speculation and fan theories
yep i also fell that some variants are missing, and i even thought what i did wrong :D The answer is devs did not make it to the end :( Oh i understood it wrong, it is the fan version what he talks here :D
Tbh I really like the decision song idk if it’s just me but it sounds very lis to me Edit: I mean the older version btw not the current one (just wanted to make sure people understood which I was on about)
at 6:26 and beyond, looking at the strange black shapes that filled dana's room, it looked like at this point in the build the lightshafts coming from the windows wasnt rendered with its texture, showing only the 2D planes it wouldve been projected on. this is mostly going off of the fact that the rest of the games unfinished parts or bugs relating to missing textures are rendered completely black.
likewise the leaked plot points are probably marked as unused content because they were leaked while the later episodes were still being created. some of the changes later in development couldve been because of those huge leaks, or they naturally changed as development continued and strayed away from the original leaks. the leaks are actually super accurate, considering the unused and cut content thats talked about it part 1
Love the video but i have an idea considering Nathan's knowledge about the storm.Isn't it more logical that Nathan may have know about the storm from Rachel before she dies as he was dosing her and because we know that Rachel died because Nathan gave her an overdose.And because there are theories that Rachel caused the storm and i am convinced about it because its not the first time she caused a natural disaster(first time was the huge fire in arcadia bay that got extinguished when Rachel got stabbed in before the storm because she became unconscious)
its a bit more deeper than that, in the original contents on the 8 chapters they were going to explore all possibilities about the storm, all followed by supernatural occurences. Native americans revenge, Prescotts having bunkers way before rachel died, Some people seemingly having power in arcadia bay, nathan knowledge about the storm, rachel having powers too then ulthimathely it would go back to the 3rd ending or the original two endings.
4:17 Yes San Fransisco ending was good..She already arrested Mark Jefferson by David..She saved Kate..and Chloe Also She won the contest and her photo was in art gallery of San Fransisco.. Only The stupid Chloe ...ran away from Storm instead of Texting Max..."Yo! Max your dream came.true ...Holy Shit! and I.won't go away from the Spot..TORNADO IS COMING TOWARDS ME !..BYEE!😝😝
@@Brand-pn5yz it you think a bit it is not really the only way. As Max goes back in time in the last time, she knows all issues and can tell Chloe really fast before she(Max) forgets. This would make the events completely different.
The third ending was a masterpiece, so much potential for nathan and chloe x max love wasted.if this ending existed the new double exposure game could be based on something way better than max new friend "safi" .it could be grown up chloe and max married and them looking back for old arcadia bay friends etc..
