What a spectacular idea! Just love the idea of a map made out of the rocks from the regions it represents. Brilliant! Congrats on the new machine, that looks like a ton of fun and what a great tool to help out with the challenge! Watching you glue...I totally felt that when you got some on you. Oh the sacrifices we make for making! It turned out awesome, fabulous skills, hope you've got a very special place to hang that! Cheers!
talk about technical ! literally a jigsaw puzzle and getting the actual stones for each ! you picked a complicated one for sure, and pulled it off ! got to love the art / science mix of it . you clearly know your stuff and got your area mapped out in more ways than one . nice work !
Great idea, I search KY for agates and geodes and was planning a state map with county cut outs from slabs. Then, I could see how many different counties I could find material from and fill out the state.
Awesome project! You must have the patience of a saint! I would have given up before i started! But you can tell it was a labor of love and well worth it! It turned out very nice! awesome job! Cool idea!

Oh gosh, I think most of the states have too complicated geology to make a whole set. I'm lucky I live in a relatively simply state geologically speaking lol. Maybe single-rock cabachons shaped like each state instead...
Enjoyed watching and LOVED the concept. Suggestion, and not just this video, I see this all too often with UA-camrs...filler music way TOO loud. End up having to mute and miss narratives.

Very cool! I made a Hawaiian Islands map out of beach sand and love the idea of using local rocks to create a real world geologic map. Excellent job!

It's a great idea. My dad started his in the mid-60s and worked on it for a couple of decades. He used opal triplets for all the capitals.
