- Since 2020 to date, our teams have been working hard to clean up major river systems-primarily the Tullahan River, Pasig River, and now the rivers of Bulacan province, among others. So far, we have cleaned over 80 kilometers of waterways across 22 cities and municipalities. On World Water Day, watch how this massive effort has made a real difference to the lives of those living in communities around these rivers.

Knowledge, access to information to create effective and affordable garbage collection throughout metro Manila and neighboring provinces. Then the discipline will result through education, and awareness of how to care for the environment.
@@maalat Agree. After installing garbage cans everywhere, we need to establish the garbage system so people can follow. And historically, filipino's tend to follow if there an easy system in place.

Samahan pa ng routine policing ng mga LGU sa kanikanilang mga nasasakupan at pagpapatupad ng disiplina, and commitment to cooperate with all government projects, hindi imposible ang mga pangarap natin ng isang malinis at ligtas na kapaligiran. Tuloy din sana ang magandang waste management projects, recycling, tree planting at greening.

In the 1960s and 1970s as I remember, the residents of Obando, Meycauayan and Valenzuela used to complain about SMC whenever
their poisonous effluence from their brewery would pollute the surrounding rivers and kill the fish. I’m very glad that now SMC is rehabilitating the rivers. Keep up the good work.
