Mediacorp.... question er..... why never give Yahui Character in a show as herself hur??? Why all the time is some nuts or sad or crazy character??? Funny..... if you see the viewing rate here, ppl like her as how she is.
I did have a glimpse of her in some ICA-related ch 5 drama which was over 10 years ago.. her spoken English was relatively decent like any other main cast inside. A search on meWATCH did show that she was casted in a few ch 5 drama series over the course of her career.

XXL might seem like a supporter of our govt’s (ala IMDA) policy of speaking only ‘proper’ language in all free-to-air TV programmes, including dramas. The requirement is fine for variety/info hosting shows, but a big killer for our Chinese/Malay TV dramas. He/she needs to understand that, who on earth speaks so ‘proper’ in our daily lives outside of formal settings?
