Tyler Herro Reaches 2,000 Points Milestone In Whitnall's Final Home Game!

- Tyler Herro has been facing different defenses all season. Some teams guard him straight up and he scores 40+. Some teams throw junk defenses like Box and 1, Diamond and 1, Triangle and 2 and he still scores 40+...
In the WIAA Division 2 Regional Finals, Whitnall hosted rivals New Berlin Eisenhower. New Berlin Eisenhower threw everything at Herro including a varsity football player. They tried to deny the Kentucky commit Herro the ball all game.
In the end Herro scored 35 points (or 34 according to announcer) in his Whitnall Falcons' 64-50 win.
This left Herro with 2012 career points, despite missing much of his junior season (including playoffs).
Next, Whitnall faces Pewaukee in the Sectional.

It helps that Tyler has great players around him. The fact that they can finish off of his passes and sometimes don’t even need him when they score shows a lot. Tyler has great game and he’s gonna go far with his talent💯
Bennett Dubrow Honestly i don’t think they are great individual players, why amazes me is how well they play as a team. It’s not just get the ball to Tyler and move out the way, they set great screens off ball and always make the extra pass. Everything is easier when you’ve got a stud like Tyler though lol
