- Maj. Stephen Pless received the Medal of Honor for his unselfish action during the Vietnam War - making him the only Marine aviator to receive the medal during the conflict.
My father Lawrence H. Allen was one of the U.S Soliders rescued that day by Pless. If it weren't for this man, I would not be alive today. Thank you for sharing this story.
He's my grandpa and you are welcome!!
Incredible. God bless America... 🇺🇲😍✨

We shall risk our lives for our comrades in arms, knowing with certainty that they will do the same for us. This simple - but profound - truth is the foundation our everlasting ethic.
Much respect Marine. Thank You for your service. Semper Fi
I would like permission to use this on my dedicated VMO-6 Channel please
Respect .
good job! greetings from 🇩🇪👍🏻
First and go marines
Something to add... They could barely take off with all the extra weight but he insisted that they keep every man on board, also he died within months of receiving his medal of honor in a reckless motorcycle stunt over a drawbridge gone wrong. We have no idea what my step grandpa did with all his money but we sure haven't seen any of it.
God bless the united States Marine
