Ray Price is anything but an old timer!.He is singing better than ever and has the stamina of a young man. I recently saw him in concert and he performed nonstop, signed autographs until everyone in line had passed through then stayed longer yet to have pictures taken with his loyal fans. He still plays to a packed house and is an example of vocal perfection. He is a country music icon and anything but an old timer. He is awesome
What fans rarely observe is that Willie Nelson's guitar skills are superb. He is imminent in both vocals and the guitar. In our world of specializations, we could only develop one master skill for a lifetime and forget all the others. This is not true of Willie and here lies a solid evidence of greatness that other artists do not have. I love George Straight and Garth Brooks but I doubt if they possess Willie's guitar genius.
My wife & I saw Ray Price in Elko,Nevada in 1995, and his voice was as pure as rain, the sound was as if i was hearing him sing in the 60's, now his Pedal Steel Guitar player was so good that he could look as if he was sleeping, but soung so good, great stuff by great people, Mac
I've met and photographed the wonderful Willie Nelson. I have not met Ray Price, but he will be forever in my heart as I listen to his soothing voice, I recall the antics of my soul mate Tilmon Gue that I loved since age 17 till he died in his sleep peacefully, February 26, 2013. We were not a couple; just friends who loved to listen to the old LPs in the night, laugh and talk about the good times. I'll miss his voice; hopefully Ray and Willie will help soothe my aching heart. Tilmon Layne Gue.
Willie Nelson can make any song sound great. This is a great song within itself but I don't think there's a song out there that Willie Nelson can't sing.
It's nice that Willie brings the old-timers back, but unfortunately, Ray Price brings nothing to the table. (I do have to say that he WAS great in the '50s!)

What chills me more is Willie's superb guitar talent.

Dolly Partons song? Different lyrics, but great
They look like like applejack and big macintosh from my little pony singing a song on stage
