As with your other video, this is another fascinating look into how to work a Model T. Very interesting. I presume from the way you're presenting this that you sold the car - that must have been a difficult decision, but I hope its new owner is giving it the love and the use a good old vehicle like this deserves!
A trick to priming gravity fead engine is to pressurize the tank by wrapping a rag loosely around an air nozzle in inserting it into the fill hole. The rag being loose prevents damage to the fuel system.
GPOLICE an “air nozzle” is anything you can put in an airline to allow free flow of air from your compressor. Can be a loose air fitting with no tool attached or an attachment included in every air compressor kit I’ve ever seen.
GPOLICE not exactly. Its more of trying to pressurize the tank to force the fuel past any obstruction in the line. Can be done to any gravity feed fuel tank.
Recently purchased a 1919 speedster. Great Video! Without a generator how long are you able to drive the car for? Is it just the modern coil draining the battery when driving? Thanks
Paul Dixon it's the coil and lights if driving at night (not reccomended.) Thanks for the complement on the video. I'm not sure what the range on the battery would be. Grandpa had two car batteries in parallel and would drive ~100 miles fairly regularly I think. He did keep them trickle charged nightly. Congrats on your Speedster!
As someone that just inherited a 1927 model T both your videos are super helpful! Thank you for these.
The button that makes the exhaust louder is used to add about 3 extra hp to go uphill 😂, it’s an exhaust cutout. Enjoy the t!

Remember those old gangster flicks where the stick up guy going into the bank or store tells the wheel man to "keep it running" ? This is why.👍😉
I like your video's man

Also, if your gas gets too low and you can’t drive up a hill because of it, go up it in reverse.
19Robert98 you can put a hand pump to pressurize the tank too. Like a beer keg tap . Love the old stuff lol
Also can we have a video of how to take tire of a Model T Car please
