I think it kind of dump that Dim Cards only work with one device. Like, if you are able to buy them all individually, that fine. But there so many Cards that are exclusive to a watch. If I what every digimon on one watch, the other watches now loss thier main digimon.

You actually can give or lend a dim to someone else, both the person and you will have to unlock the dim before it works on the friends bracelet, and re unlock it again when you go to put it back in yours

I just ordered my Vital Bracelet Special with Ancient Warriors and Impulse City DIMs. Watching this video has showed me so much in a short period of time. Thus my digimon starts losing vital points quite quickly. However, I found that strapping the bracelet on my girlfriend solves this problem. Perfect!

Simple Corrections: You can run away from any NFC Battle during the Full Art screen by holding the top OR bottom button. Either button works. Yes, I have tested this. Also, when connecting to the App, you don't need to navigate the VB's menu, from the main screen, if you press the bottom button, it will show the "App Connect" screen. Bandai toy buttons can get a bit squishy over time, any time you can avoid extra button pressing, the longer life you will have
Bit late to the party, just got mine in the post and can confirm I'm loving it rn, didn't get the V version since the uk supplier I got mine from have only just got the originals in, but hey at least I can have double the fun whilst working out and playing sports with digimon at the same time

I’d recommend getting the “Vital Bracelet: Digivice V” over the classic Vital Bracelet. It’s got a few tiny upgrades which make it more user-friendly. The only real difference with most dims is the Digimon that appear on them, so just pick the ones with the mons you like the most 👌🏻 My personal favourites are “Hermit In The Jungle” and “Mad Black Roar” 🤘🏻
Hey! You don’t need the app, but you’ll definitely get a lot more out of the VB if you have the app. If you change the region settings on your App Store login stuff you can download the app from the Japanese App Store, and luckily now the app is mostly all in English too! I think the app has also released in the US too
I've been thinking for quite a while whether to put on the Vital Bracelet, but unfortunately I don't have this little helper who can run for me. Unfortunately, I am somewhat limited in this regard. It's a pity, well, then I hope for a similar thing in the near future without to be so sporty 😅
You don’t actually need to be intensely active, low-level activity works fine too. But I also totally understand, this device isn’t one for everyone unfortunately 🙏🏻
Since recording this video a new version has been announced and I’d recommend that one over this. It’s called the “Digivice V” it’s cheaper and has a few tweaks that should make it a better device. That said, it’s not actually out yet, so who knows 🤷♂️

I'm definitely planning on getting this sometime. I could really, really use a motivation to exercise and what better way to do that than to have a digimon to care for? I've heard that the missions don't last very long, but honestly I'd say it sounds like a decent start to get moving for a full workout. As a side note, my 2001 self would be incredibly jealous of your collection. My 2021 self is quite jealous too, frankly.

I saw the dim cards and was tempted to buy them, but after watching a playthrough, I realize it’s just an expensive tamagotchi. There are mobile games that are free and much better tbh (even if the best one has been shut down for some reason)
My bud got me a Vital Bracelet the other day as an early birthday present! My Digimon doesn't seem to sleep though. Is there something I need to do for it to sleep? I've googled but I can't seem to find an answer. Also this vlog was so wholesome and awesome! :D
Is it the version in this video? Or is it the Digivice V version? The symbol above the screen will be 3 triangles if it’s the Digivice V. If so, it will only sleep when you set it to sleep by pressing both buttons at the same time. If it’s the version with the DM then it will sleep on its own at night, usually 9pm
@@DigitalDream09 Hmm I have the US Vital Hero VB so it has the DM symbol. It stays away all day and night. Perhaps I should remove the bracelet at night and it'll asleep? Maybe mine's just quirky? 🤣
@@shawnychuu Ah the vital hero works the same as the Digivice V! So if you want it to sleep, press both buttons at the same time, and when you want it to wake up do the same again 👍🏻

I was wondering if anyone can clear something up for me. For the secret evolution, do you have to clear the 15 stages with an ultimate digimon then evolve it to the secret mega? Or can I use a mega to clear stage 15. If the second is true, how would it work? Do I have to put in my Dim card again and start over?
I have 3 questions. 1) how long of a battery life does it have? 2) with the random battles by tapping it on things like an atm is that only in Japan? 3) how big is the straps? (Was it tight on your wrist as an adult?)
Battery life is a 1-2 days depending on how much interaction you have with it. NFC works anywhere! It’s just that in Japan and big cities there are a lot more NFC ports to use. Contactless pay points, key card scanners, most phones etc. I’d say I’m slightly chunkier than the average man and my strap is on the final peg and it feels fine. There have been a lot of people who’s wrist it won’t fit though, so it’s definitely worth measuring up first. Failing that you can get band extenders or longer bands. Hope this helps!
I was so close to being interested, but 1-2 day battery life seems honestly atrocious. If you have to replace the battery that much, that seems unnecessarily expensive(unless it has a charging device?). I'm sorry, but I cant see that being worth it.
@@jonathangoodwin5609 it's a rechargeable one. I'm glad I got mine. It helps push me because I am trying to get all of the digimon and theu keep making new chips. The only down side right now is veemon is only available through the bundle. I would strongly recommend this for a digimon fan. And to get your partner as strong as you can for the raid.
@Hyper Zeke thank you. Got more questions, if that's okay. Regarding the different Dim cards and digimon, is there any functional difference between digimon, or is It just an aesthetic thing. I would rather not buy it if it's like a mandatory microtransaction where I have to pay extra to get good digimon. So, do different Digimon have different levels of strength to force you to buy more, or would I be good just getting a single one that I like in terms of looks and using only that? I'm just worried that, like microtransactions, you would have to pay extra beyond the one it comes with in order to get anything good.
@@jonathangoodwin5609 I have quite a few dim cards. I think they might have a bit of a difference but not 100% sure. My medabots one seems to have high attack but his defense and evasion aren't that good but my metal metalgarurumon seem evenly balanced. I'm working on black wargreymon and he seems the same. To be truthful with you I would just get the dim cards you like. There are in game money that you get for doing events and challenges. Just be careful and not fall down the rabbit hole. We got a few of them but we also got all the tamer digimon and I plan on getting all the frontier ones as well. I hope this answers your questions. I would ask @DigitalDream09 if they have different status. He gave me good information and I never looked back.

They have dim card volume 2 out in there shop. But, hopefully they get shadow howl and mad black roar and ture shadow howl in there shop and other dim cards soon.

Like why not release this on smart watches? i know we dont get those chip things but tapping works. Wouldve been a whole lot better with better graphics on watches. Still getting it but missed out on that.
In my opinion, part of the magic of Digimon is having it as it’s own device though. I’ve played vpet apps and stuff and it’s never felt the same. I personally prefer my Digimon to be on its own confined thing, If that makes sense?

I'm so busy throughout the day, so having a standard digimon vpet is almost impossible. I lose track of it and mess up. I always get the wrong monster. The vital bracelet has changed that for me. It's easier to use with my busy schedule. I get the satisfaction of being a tamer without the multitasking.
I'm so jelly. My phones stopped being able to read the NFC tag on my VB after a week so I'm getting a replacement on Thursday. Now I just need to pray the parts I ordered from Aliexpress let me unlock my DIM Cards.
@@DigitalDream09 I just think it would be so cool. The more dim cards you have the more “hidden” digimon that aren’t on the graphs of the digivolution chain. Example : Veedramon and paledramon making something not documented but nothing too far fetched.

I know I am late to the the Vital bracelet but I am deciding to get one soon so do you recommend any DIMs to get?
I’d recommend getting the “Vital Bracelet: Digivice V” over the classic Vital Bracelet. It’s got a few tiny upgrades which make it more user-friendly.
The only real difference with most dims is the Digimon that appear on them, so just pick the ones with the mons you like the most 👌🏻
My personal favourites are “Hermit In The Jungle” and “Mad Black Roar” 🤘🏻

Hey! You don’t need the app, but you’ll definitely get a lot more out of the VB if you have the app. If you change the region settings on your App Store login stuff you can download the app from the Japanese App Store, and luckily now the app is mostly all in English too! I think the app has also released in the US too

I've been thinking for quite a while whether to put on the Vital Bracelet, but unfortunately I don't have this little helper who can run for me. Unfortunately, I am somewhat limited in this regard. It's a pity, well, then I hope for a similar thing in the near future without to be so sporty 😅
You don’t actually need to be intensely active, low-level activity works fine too. But I also totally understand, this device isn’t one for everyone unfortunately 🙏🏻

I’ve held off on getting a Vital Bracelet but I definitely might give this a look into at some point.
Since recording this video a new version has been announced and I’d recommend that one over this. It’s called the “Digivice V” it’s cheaper and has a few tweaks that should make it a better device. That said, it’s not actually out yet, so who knows 🤷♂️

I'm definitely planning on getting this sometime. I could really, really use a motivation to exercise and what better way to do that than to have a digimon to care for? I've heard that the missions don't last very long, but honestly I'd say it sounds like a decent start to get moving for a full workout. As a side note, my 2001 self would be incredibly jealous of your collection. My 2021 self is quite jealous too, frankly.

I saw the dim cards and was tempted to buy them, but after watching a playthrough, I realize it’s just an expensive tamagotchi. There are mobile games that are free and much better tbh (even if the best one has been shut down for some reason)

My bud got me a Vital Bracelet the other day as an early birthday present! My Digimon doesn't seem to sleep though. Is there something I need to do for it to sleep? I've googled but I can't seem to find an answer. Also this vlog was so wholesome and awesome! :D
Is it the version in this video? Or is it the Digivice V version? The symbol above the screen will be 3 triangles if it’s the Digivice V. If so, it will only sleep when you set it to sleep by pressing both buttons at the same time. If it’s the version with the DM then it will sleep on its own at night, usually 9pm
@@DigitalDream09 Hmm I have the US Vital Hero VB so it has the DM symbol. It stays away all day and night. Perhaps I should remove the bracelet at night and it'll asleep? Maybe mine's just quirky? 🤣
@@shawnychuu Ah the vital hero works the same as the Digivice V! So if you want it to sleep, press both buttons at the same time, and when you want it to wake up do the same again 👍🏻

I was wondering if anyone can clear something up for me. For the secret evolution, do you have to clear the 15 stages with an ultimate digimon then evolve it to the secret mega? Or can I use a mega to clear stage 15. If the second is true, how would it work? Do I have to put in my Dim card again and start over?
Nope! You can clear it with a mega and then it will be unlocked for all future mons you raise on that dim 👍🏻

I have 3 questions. 1) how long of a battery life does it have? 2) with the random battles by tapping it on things like an atm is that only in Japan? 3) how big is the straps? (Was it tight on your wrist as an adult?)
Battery life is a 1-2 days depending on how much interaction you have with it.
NFC works anywhere! It’s just that in Japan and big cities there are a lot more NFC ports to use. Contactless pay points, key card scanners, most phones etc.
I’d say I’m slightly chunkier than the average man and my strap is on the final peg and it feels fine. There have been a lot of people who’s wrist it won’t fit though, so it’s definitely worth measuring up first. Failing that you can get band extenders or longer bands.

I was so close to being interested, but 1-2 day battery life seems honestly atrocious. If you have to replace the battery that much, that seems unnecessarily expensive(unless it has a charging device?). I'm sorry, but I cant see that being worth it.
@@jonathangoodwin5609 it's a rechargeable one. I'm glad I got mine. It helps push me because I am trying to get all of the digimon and theu keep making new chips. The only down side right now is veemon is only available through the bundle. I would strongly recommend this for a digimon fan. And to get your partner as strong as you can for the raid.
@Hyper Zeke thank you. Got more questions, if that's okay. Regarding the different Dim cards and digimon, is there any functional difference between digimon, or is It just an aesthetic thing. I would rather not buy it if it's like a mandatory microtransaction where I have to pay extra to get good digimon. So, do different Digimon have different levels of strength to force you to buy more, or would I be good just getting a single one that I like in terms of looks and using only that? I'm just worried that, like microtransactions, you would have to pay extra beyond the one it comes with in order to get anything good.
@@jonathangoodwin5609 I have quite a few dim cards. I think they might have a bit of a difference but not 100% sure. My medabots one seems to have high attack but his defense and evasion aren't that good but my metal metalgarurumon seem evenly balanced. I'm working on black wargreymon and he seems the same. To be truthful with you I would just get the dim cards you like. There are in game money that you get for doing events and challenges. Just be careful and not fall down the rabbit hole. We got a few of them but we also got all the tamer digimon and I plan on getting all the frontier ones as well. I hope this answers your questions. I would ask @DigitalDream09 if they have different status. He gave me good information and I never looked back.

They have dim card volume 2 out in there shop.
But, hopefully they get shadow howl and mad black roar and ture shadow howl in there shop and other dim cards soon.

Like why not release this on smart watches? i know we dont get those chip things but tapping works. Wouldve been a whole lot better with better graphics on watches. Still getting it but missed out on that.
In my opinion, part of the magic of Digimon is having it as it’s own device though. I’ve played vpet apps and stuff and it’s never felt the same. I personally prefer my Digimon to be on its own confined thing, If that makes sense?

I'm so busy throughout the day, so having a standard digimon vpet is almost impossible. I lose track of it and mess up. I always get the wrong monster. The vital bracelet has changed that for me. It's easier to use with my busy schedule. I get the satisfaction of being a tamer without the multitasking.

@@DigitalDream09 I just think it would be so cool. The more dim cards you have the more “hidden” digimon that aren’t on the graphs of the digivolution chain. Example : Veedramon and paledramon making something not documented but nothing too far fetched.
