      Bro that's basic as a teen with common sense that knows what AC and DC is, we won't get electrocuted by a capacitor or ac supply you just need to determine polarity of dc in this case also the gnd and left and right audio port

    It's like a part time job. I'd rather just buy Bluetooth Speakers. But you did do a good job making it work. Just a person would have to be good at wiring and soldering wires to circuit boards. And I don't think a lot of people can do this.

      But bluetooth speakesr all seam tobe mono with no seperation distance either. Thats why I abbed BT internally on my home Hi fi, and taped 5v from the 12v internal feed from transformer, through 5v regulator with filtering capacitors on a small stipboard, all tucked away inside the old hifi case, a small switch on the rear to control the 5v, and wired a jack cable internally from Auxillary input on the rear of the hifi, and plugged it into the BT board, held inside the case with adhesive foam tape. All easilly reversable, and totally internal. Way better than a BT speaker with my 240 W RMS stereo and subs thank you.

    Also you can use the famous regulator 7805 instead of old charger in order to supply the bluetooth device from the main Ac transformer of speaker.
    7805 very tiny item and perfectly give 5 volts with zero noise especially with two filters stages.

    • @spiritualbeing4303
      @spiritualbeing4303 4 роки тому

      Are you idiot? 7805 works with DC Voltage. You cannot connect 7805 with AC. Also, it will get heat up, so separate heat sink will have to be required.

    After reading all of the negative comments here I am to clarify what's he actually doing in this video..
    1. He has old wired standard 3.5mm jack speaker laying around his house...
    2. So he bought the Bluetooth receiver to turn his old wired speaker into Bluetooth enabled speaker...
    3. But unfortunately his old wired speaker also didn't have USB port to powered the Bluetooth receiver...
    4. At the same time he has old 5v mobile charger (which is still in good condition and no mobile is using that charger anyway) laying around his house so he decided to use the mobile charger as a power supply for the Bluetooth receiver..
    5. Voila. He's complete connecting all the wire in correct position and now he's have turn his (Non Bluetooth) old wired speaker into a Bluetooth speaker.
    The conclusion is he doing this method because this way we don't need to carry extra wire and hanging wire around for the audio jack and USB Bluetooth receiver and that's why he connecting the mobile charger board to the power supply and to the USB Bluetooth receiver because without that the Bluetooth receiver will surely fried like fried chicken. Also please don't compare it to these modern day speaker that have all the port around it. Thanks for reading
    Well this is one of the good diy video also I like this kind of video that teach people how to diy. Peace. Keep on diy everyday.

      sydmichel the usb is what makes the speaker Bluetooth it’s one of those usb that you put on a computer that don’t have Bluetooth built in but it’s a waste of time for all this you can just buy a Bluetooth speaker plus the point of Bluetooth is for it to be wireless and take it anywhere

      No reply to your questions after a month, I guess he's busy... Let me try to answer.
      1) Why another switch? Because the first switch is part of the Amplifier board and only turns off that part of the speaker. But now that it has additional circuitry, a second switch is needed to turn that off as well. Also, it is MUCH less complicated than converting the first switch to perform both tasks.
      2) Why use the 3.5 mm plug when soldering would have been simpler?
      You are absolutely right. I suspect that he wanted to demonstrate the audio signal path in a very visual way for beginners, with a connector that is instantly recognizable. There is really no other reason that I can see.

    It's pretty good but a lot of work I'm trying to figure out how to add Bluetooth to an 89 Chevrolet Cheyenne pickup without replacing the stereo I want to keep it as original as possible but I don't want to just add it to one speaker and I don't want to splice all the speakers together not really sure what to do any advice

      Y se oye mejor, también tendrías batería y estás que el hace son de corriente directa, pero bueno es buena opción también

    How do you pair the bluetooth? When the first device you paired isn't connected will it automatically start the pairing process again? If not you'll have to open it up every time you want to pair a new device.

    Lol. You could actually buy a mini rechargeable bluetooth receiver/transmitter with audio out and simply connect the pc speaker cables to it. It also cost around $5 in Amazon. Less hassle to construct.

      $5? Try free, plus a buck shipping, on Wish. Just ordered a second as a backup. Oh, but I replaced my original's battery (like, 50mAh) with one from a damaged PS4 controller (1000mAh!!!). Lasts forever between charges!

    • @dinbee4611
      @dinbee4611 5 років тому

      @@robert___t Whoa that's wicked. But Wish buys goods from China cheaply BY THE BARREL per item that's why they can sell one product costing, say $450, down to only $1 (even $0.50 at times). The catch is, some items may not work and you may get knock-offs on certain brands. But hey, they're only $1 so can't complain much. So as long as its makes you happy, order away.

    Just get a Jay-tech SA-101B. It has an internal battery, SD card dlot, buttons and a headphone jack. Oh and the (EDIT: normally) unused pin on its mini USB port is a line in port.
