Very nice. The album version has more of a sense of urgency; the heat of battle having instinctual synaptic responses based on action in the moment, whereas this version leans more towards the feeling of heart where the warrior is dealing with the situation on an emotional level as well. Both hit that spot (being of Oglala Lakota and a bit of Irish descent) personally, as though the guy who's fighting is proud to destroy and defend while their humanity insists an apathetic and compassionate mindset. (Hoka hey, but not okay). You're quite the inspiration.
please god have a stratagy for now. i pray for you. its one thing to make a song its another to deal with the actual threat, dear god please have a plan
Before the song, Freddy said "According to Facebook policy, people must use Chinese names in order to register themselves as Taiwanese on Facebook. If they use their original name like Mona Rudao, Facebook don't allow it. It is because Chinese make this policy. They force all those Taiwanese Aborigines to have Chinese name." Is it really? If it is true, can someone reflect to Facebook to amend the policy?
Facebook is blocked in China. It's probably not blocked in Taiwan, but I don't understand how the Chinese government has a Facebook policy if they can't even use it. So I'm guessing it's Taiwan's policy. Could be wrong.
Jesse Lapham Maybe I should say it clearly. The situation is that when Taiwanese aborigines want to register Facebook accounts, they will see a sign up page which is in Chinese (Because of the Taiwan IP address). Some information are required to be input: surname, name, email, etc. Freddy said: Chinese name must be input and Facebook require Taiwanese names should be in three Chinese words. Some Taiwanese aborigines use Chinese words to simulate how their original names are pronounced. When they input them to register Facebook accounts, the registration fail. Freddy said Taiwanese aborigines were forced to have Japanese names during Japanese colonial period. However, after the KMT force came to Taiwan, the Chinese has been blaming the people on Taiwan for having Japanese names. On the other hand, they have been forcing Taiwanese aborigines to have Chinese names. Freddy used the Facebook policy as an example. He wanted to point out the contradiction.
The country which blocked Facebook is main land China. (PROC, People Repulic of China) but the goverment of Taiwan reconize themselves as China, too.(ROC, Repulic of China, which used to control China within 1911-1949) And ROC wants to be the real China, so they tell all Taiwanese that you are all Chinese, not Taiwanese.
I tried my best to translate the speech part , hope it’s not too terrible to read. ---------------------------- Our grandparents' generation has been humiliated by a word “皇民(Followers of Japanese Emperor)” recently. But that is history which we can't change. Our ancestors used to fight for Japan, which is not our choice. Our ancestors were forced to change their names into Japanese style, so they were humiliated by the Chinese who went to Taiwan after World War II. But those Chinese also forced Taiwan’s aborigines to change their names to Chinese style after they came to Taiwan. Until now, aborigines in Taiwan still can’t use their real names in many situations. So in reality the Chinese and the Japanese did the same thing, they don’t have anything different. I think we Taiwanese must find ourselves in this complicated colonial history. The Japanese comic artist Kobayashi Yoshinori (小林よしのり) said that he saw the real Japanese spirit in Taiwan. And the Chinese author Han Han (韓寒) also said that the excellent Chinese culture is now in Taiwan. Why can’t we just be Taiwan, but have to be a better China or Japan? Why can't we just be ourselves but have to be the projection of someone else’s dream? We can't change the history, but we are willing to learn from it and become ourselves: Taiwanese.

Ng Sally That's interesting. Thanks for the information. Shows just how hypocritical governments or any controlling forces can be

大陆东北也是被占领过,我们长辈花了几十年来证明自己不是日本人,但是还是受到歧视。
