The fact that the creators of these movies have to make sure that all of them tie in together, don't spoil anything, keep the same pacing, have each film be unique, et cetera, and with all of this still end up producing above average movies, should give them a hell of a lot of praise.

+SlavjanA Set up is a problem though and I blame the studio for that, Joss shouldn't have to do set up he should have just done a solid film but the thing is people want set up when they already announced their line up so the next set of movies should leave set up alone also that Loki comment, let's not forget Loki had three movies so he's a fleshed out villain Ultron just had one and I thought he was solid
The actor that played the President from Iron Man come back to play the President on Agent's of Shield last night.
Justice League the animated series the first 3 episodes all the characters were together and i didn't know most of the characters accept for Superman, Batman and Flash but the show progress and started to knowing and understanding the characters. Now Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes the first 7-8 episodes they showed the characters separately.
My point is DC and Marvel are building their universe like their animated shows

Huh. I actually thought that Ultron was portrayed as well as he could have been. I mean, think about it. If he had no characterization at all (I.E. an emotionless robot), he would be extremely boring. We would basically have another Terminator on our hands. I mean, the Terminator is great and all, but Ultron actually does feel emotion in the comics (such as hate, the need for a female companion, etc) unlike the Terminator. At least the Ultron we got was constantly evolving. Don't believe me? He inherently wants to follow his programing (albeit as a lifeless machine), but his mind expanded past the parameters. He gained all knowledge within a minute of being born, and we actually see him grow from a "baby" to an adult in the next few minutes as he kills someone for the first time. The difference between Ultron and Vision is that, while both had access to all knowledge on the planet and both knew the human race would ultimately destroy themselves, they decided to act differently. Ultron tried to cause another Big Bang, and Vision decided to help the humans even though he knew it was pointless to help them.

Well I did say best summer movie. It's no longer the summer. But I still think Mad Max should get some nominations like for Best Actress, Best Visual Effects, Best Cinematography, and Best Score. However, I feel it's going to be overlooked for the most part.

I totally loved Age of Ultron. It has some flaws but I had a great moment while watching. I even like it more than the first one. Quicksilver didn't deserve to die tho, totally unnecesary

Ultron was a GREAT villain. Every line of dialogue was beautifully poetic and Spader's performance was something special. He''s easily number 2 behind Loki. And i understood what he meant with every line and i believed why he wanted to destroy everything.
I totally agree with you on the feeling of the first Avengers. Like them just forming (pretty much) and kicking ass is one of the reasons why the movie was so good and obviously you can't manufacture that feeling again. Still was a great movie though
I agree that Justice League will Not have the hype that Batman V Superman will.
BvS is the first time seeing them together on the big screen....and you have Wonder Woman as well.....with absolutely no buildup whatsoever.
But maybe DC already understand that.

I enjoyed Age of Ultron. People complain that Ultron has too many jokes and one liners but once you see the movie again, he isn't really cracking that much jokes nor is he pulling one liners. Overall the team work with The Avengers was cool, the story felt downgraded but it picked up in a nick of time and the character development between the lesser heroes was freaking awesome. Ultron was awesome aswell, he has the personality of Stark and daddy issues. He's not going to act like a menace right off the bat, I like this movie.
Akasan, I liked A2: Age of Ultron, I just thought it could have been better. I loved Avengers!!!!!!!! But I like AoU. Have you seen this AOU deleted scenes . They are awesome. I wish this film was longer. And X-men movie underused Quicksilver! He was DOPE!!!!!!!!!!! He is the best Mutant power and he seems faster than the Flash!

I would argue that Quiksilver from Age of Ultron is better, simply because we got to know that character. He looked better, I preferred the acting. Evan Peters is great and I loved him, but Aaron Taylor-Johnson was more grounded and his chemistry with Elizabeth really touched me. Elizabeth Olsen's accent took me out of it sometimes though. That was the only problem I had with the film.
yeah Taylor had the accent better than her. The main reason people seem to say Xmen Quicksilver was better; is because of that major action scene/slomo scene. Marvel's was more layered to me & had more time for us to get behind him.

DC doesn't need to take years to introduce their all star team because everybody knows who Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg is. and the first time we see the REAL all star team together in Justice League it will blow that one Avengers scene right out of the water. DC's all star team is basically Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird and Julius Irving. Marvels is Lebron, Kobe, Shaq, and Durant. good, but nowhere near the level of Jordan/Magic/Bird/Irving

well yeah, but they're not part of the DCEU, im gonna wait and give BvS a chance, personally i didnt like MOS, but BvS could redeem it, and Suicide Squad looks pretty good, i actually liked the trailer more than BvS.
