I'm going to start taking my 2 lads to start watching barnsley, always supported the tykes but never really been to see them alot but with my grandad being a old coal miner feels there is alot of heritage in it as well! That was possibly the worst performance I've seen in following the REDS since 1975 atrocious
I know you lads haven't had the era's we've seen but without a doubt this manager Neil Collins has to rank up there with Paul Hart Jose Morais Steve Parkin and Nigel Spackman as the most inept Barnsley have ever had in charge
No effort no idea and no ambition in that first half whatsoever how the hell we came back to win 1-3 will be a mystery that goes down in the annals of time like the building of the Sphynx & great pyramids in Egypt
Those Reading fans deserved so much more from their team but it was like a shirt swap in the second half we came out with more impetus and Reading sat back to try and get the draw which must be so frustrating for the Royals loyal supporters languishing at the foot of the table when a few seasons ago they were in top flight football my heart goes out to them as we know full well the plight brought on by owners who want nothing for the club or its fans but a quick money making scheme to get a return for their minimal investment
I hope they get bought out by someone who loves the club the same as we require right now at Oakwell UREDS
