It's simple but so perfect, creates a brilliant atmosphere under the moon lit streets and this stealthy vibe, which keeps you calm but on edge at the same time since getting caught means a whole heap of trouble. It's like the clam before the storm.
@@laurentiusmcmxcv Hind sight is a great thing and fans didn't know what they want. Fans were getting bored of the same formula of Tenchu and they needed to switch things up, but apparently it was too much for some fans and said it didn't feel like a Tenchu game. Now some years later, people are praising it again saying they miss it... I think because the series swapped hands so many times it got really messy towards the end. The first 3 games are like the definitive collection then the rest were just mobile ports and a watered down experience. At least Sekiro was made by the old Aquire and K2 team that made the original trilog, hopefully Ghost of Tsushima will be even better. I doubt they will revive the Tenchu franchise based on the mess it ended on, they can just make a new ninja game and brand it what they want. Though that would mean losing out of fan favorite Rikimaru.
@@Jameslawz Z had ninja classes(defense, attack and speed-based, even mixing the three attributes was possible in a way). How isn't that a cool thing ? I don't get it, this was the ONLY tenchu game where you could show off those cool stealth kill montages, thanks to its "just-right" difficulty and challenge You also can play it like some of the previous games too (silent running + no noise from unsheathing and with the blade not exposing the player) Some years later, like 13.
