Great video! Very informative! How do you compare the Dovo to the Focus Dynamic shavette? Thinking of trying my hand at one & was wondering which you thought was better.
I much prefer the Focus myself due to that ridge on the head, but I think because it doesn't have the ridge the Dovo can likely get a bit more acute of an angle...however, the Focus' angle's 25° w/ that ridge in action, which ain't bad, and it GREATLY aids in the stretching (for me the really hard part). I have to believe in the hands of a true professional patient with the prep and given the barber's advantage of a repositionable shoulder location that the Dovo's better if only for the lower angle range, but that being said we have sold the Focus to quite a few very happy barbers.
I live in New Zealand so I'm not sure what the straight razor scene here is. I stay subbed to this channel to remind me to look into it when I have some expendable income though. Thanks for the reply.
Just unboxed--the exact video I needed for a "how-to-insert-regular-blade" THANKS!
happy to help, we need every st8rzr shaver we can get, keep your spine nearly flush to your skin and pass the word on the results!

Can the green insert get Feather long blades? Great video, very detailed!
sorry, it only fits Personna Hair Shaper blades with their thick metal spine.
I'm a broke ass college kid who uses disposable razors like casual tbh. I like this channel though, keep it up my dude.
Shavette will cost you MUCH less VERY quickly vs disposable razor. In far less than 1yr you'll be ahead $-wise.

Lovely shavettes...but I'm eyeing that whisky more...:)
