I just got the core lightweight and the lightweight LS tee for early season with the equinox guard pants. I’m in the Midwest so our temps can range from low 40s in the morning to 95 degrees by 8 am. My next purchase is going to be an equinox hoodie to go along with it! I can’t wait for next season!

I duck hunt in Arkansas flooded timber and I prefer synthetic to move moisture. Getting rid of moisture keeps me warmer and more comfortable while hunting.

Both great. I prefer the core lightweight. The merino is a little loose and stretches lots; great as an outer if NO brush; comfy as an under if colder weather.

When you use the Core LW for a layer piece during cold weather say under the Fanatic Hoodie is the double hood an issue

Thats one thing that drives me nuts in the sitka system is so many hoods and facemasks. I dont own this piece currently but I did. I found the double triple hoods annoying personally.
