Another outstanding cherry greenhouse variety is Edox. In my opinion will outperform Sakura any day. Very compact indeterminate plants, extremely resilient against disease, set clusters almost every foot, completely loaded with fruit. We grow it primarily. Best preforming cherry I found, from the close to 100 I tested. Try it. Relatively cheap seed too. I can show you photos. It’s too good to not share. Very good flavor, store well. You gotta try it!
I have tested over 200 varieties from slicers, grape, cherry, and specialty. Some were just frustrating and a waste of space. I dialed it down to like 10 that’s never disappointed me. I grow them now every year.
I am growing trust and big dena. Big Dena is discontinued and replaced by Geronimo. These varieties are important because they are resistant to diseases that occur in the greenhouse. Thank for your kind words, god bless you!
Thanks for the kind words, yes it is possible to make a pond in the ground, but its not going to be without problems. Maybe look up the kratky system in storage totes. I’ll try to get to your question in a video because it ties into other things that i have been thinking about, thanks for the question/comment!
Hey there, I bought them from ama horticulture. It was about $3-4 with freight but I bought 300 and I also threw on 1000 rock wool blocks at the same time. So in this instance it saved a ton of money, but small qty not worth it. This system is way cheaper than Bato buckets.

White could be better if your planning on growing in the summer. The floor could get a little slick and I just sprinkle a little sand down.
You really don’t have a problem with blight inside a greenhouse, but you can get leaf mold. The good news is that most greenhouse varieties have good resistance to it, and taste good to. There is a protocol for blight, and it’s 12 tbs per gallon of peroxide, to a gallon of water and spray leaves weekly. You can also spray BA weekly.
@@SaludaGradeFarm I have a green house. I have about 60 of red deuce tomatoes in self wicking mineral buckets. I copied your system of fertilization from an earlier video. It works great! Thank you for that. I will look up leaf mold maybe that is what it is. Seems to happen most but not every year. My tomatoes put on like gang busters from June till august then they just keel over and die.
Try growing trust or big dena, which are greenhouse tomatoes that have resistance to leaf mold. I am also testing garden friendly fungicide from southern ag. I’ll give updates!
Very interesting like the ideas about tomatoes. Watching it from Alabama.
👍 Thanks for watching
Thanks for sharing I am going to try stringing the tomato's like that its a great idea your tomato's look so neat with such good air flow
Thanks! It takes a bit of work over the Florida weave, but these suckers are so tall, and have a few feet left in them!
Cheers

@@USB-123 thanks for the info! I’ve been disappointed with Sakura but wasn’t sure where to go since I’ve used it for years.
I can send you photos to email

Sakura was a disappointment for me too

nice video, i was wondering if you can talk about RDWC system and if it's possible to dig in the ground to build this system due to my limited budget.

Where do you buy your coco coir grow slabs? Is it affordable when you count in shipping and product cost?

Do you spray anything for tomato blight?
