RM’s lyrics are always so meaningful and beautiful. So poetic, full of deep metaphors and wordplays. I think he’s the best lyricist. Namjoon is an actual genius.
RM puts out A LOT of songs that he writes for himself and others for free and not on Korean music streaming sites...like his solo albums, the free songs BTS puts out during festa, the member's solo songs...he definitely would've been no.1 in terms of credits.
I'm so glad Namjoon is getting the credit he deserves. He might not be my "bias," but when it comes to songwriting in K-Pop, he's #1 on a short list of people for me. He has the ability of any rapper, but never goes overboard, and always caters to the song even if it means he doesn't get the spotlight. His lyrics, his melodies, his vocal patterns, etc. This man is TRULY a genius, and this is coming from a Prog Metal music snob!

With the appearance of JK they are showing the part where JK says I went into Bighit bcz of RM.What they were saying when his picture of when he was young appeared is that he's rapping like a monster but you've think that with that hair he wouldn't be good at school but he had 850 at TOIEC, he was in the top 1% top students and that his IQ 148 . They also said that he has Joonie has 136 on his name and 5 out of those songs charted on Billboard'sHOT100. Also they said that Spring Day is a special song for him bcz it was the 1st time that he wrote the chorus part of their song. Also, they said that if you listen to 1 song 100 times you get 1million won as royalty so just imagine and blablabla. At the end Jun Hyun Moo talked about when he met RM in the bathroom at the fact music awards and he also said that normally it is difficult to love a song right away and that normally you should listen a few times to love a song but that he loved Boy with love at his first listen and said to RM that he loved the song. Then Joonie say yes the song is good isn't? and winked and went out. Then he was saying that he still remembers that moment specially when he winked. It is a very rough translation and I just translated some of the parts that seemed more interesting. To conclude, we all know that RM our president is the best lyricist poet in the kpop industry! his lyrics should be written in books and he should be an author in the future! I have been loving the kpop scene since shinee era and to tell you it's been 9/10 years already I'm not an army but since the first time I saw RM he is been such an inspiration to me that I can't define it any other way , all of his solo work made him my idol and due to which I started go follow bts it's been 6 years that I have been following them and each and every day he makes me proud !!!
