Hello, I am always amazed how you testers smells or tastes all of this. I live in Germany and I am proud of German beer and I love krombacher, but I just enjoy it and enjoy reviews like this one. cheers from Germany!
Paul, I know you did this review 3 years ago .. and I finally found some Krombacher Pils and Hell beer . .in Florida. I bought a bunch of it and drove back to Texas .. my son and I love this beer! Thanks for your honest and real reviews. keep it up!
Got this last weekend man after watching this review. Never had a Pilsner in my life. 6 bottles on the way for this coming weekend now 😂 Not often you’ll get an Irishman to stray away from the black stuff. Great shout, great review, great channel. Keep it up man! Cheers
American here. I'm in Germany for work for a while and couldn't choose between all the beers here. This review made me decide on Krombacher for my nightly drinks and OH MY GOD. THANK YOU. What a fantastic beer.
I bought 3 of these on Monday from tesco and found it to be fantastic pilsner. Also got a few warsteiner as well that i found even better tbh, these two are both great beers & the best they do in tesco imo 🍻 staropramen & buvar are decent as well but i still like the two above better. Great work mate 👍
Been getting this in my Tesco’s for some Time now what a find head and shoulders above most things I’ve had , warsteiner augstiener and jever are all solid similar beers
Couldn’t agree more with Paul here. I tried Krombacher Pils before seeing Paul’s review and came to the same conclusion. It blew me away! In addition to everything said by Paul, the creamy mouthfeel seals the deal for me. 10/10
Just came across your review and by the way fantasic review and solely because of it i have just bought some krombacher from tesco 3 for £6 660 size can't wait until friday when i will be sat down to drink what i am sure will be the best tasting beer i have had for a long long long time. thank you so much for your enthusiastic honest review please keep up the good work mate. Regards from leeds 👍
I am a fan of your reviews . .and I am driving from Texas through St Louis, MO . .where I can buy some Krombacher . .based on your review . i will buy as much as I can! Good job!!
My supermarket is selling these 12 box at $15 NZD for the next few weeks. about 7.50 pound , so thought I’d give it a go , and I tell you ! I really enjoy it. Literally half price of all the other beers (at the moment) and it’s great ! Will keep drinking them once they go back to usual price of $30 NZD, 15 pound
I come from the city where Krombacher is brewed. I tell you, you can get really drunk in the brewery. For € 20 you can have a tour of the brewery and afterwards you can drink and eat as much as you want in the brewery. Krombacher has a lot of different beers, all of which you can try there. From my own experience, I can say that you exceed limits that were previously almost impossible to reach. All the best from Siegen. cheers
Erzquell is a better beer, that’s coming from a Brit living in Siegen. The brewery braustube is a great experience, but slow brewing beers like Hachenburger, Bosch are better beers. Even Eichener when it still produced better pilsners. But Krombacher is better than Paderborner or Warsteiner.
Hey up Paul a brilliant review as always I Loved the krombacher so much when I last had it I even ended up buying a krombacher pilsner glass which is really nice looking although the missus says we've got enough glasses the way I see it is you can never have enough beer glasses or beer 😂 just enjoying a franziskaner hefe weissbier at the moment in a weizen glass of course 👍🍻
I do enjoy a Franziskaner, good taste mate. You’re right, you cannot beat a nice beer glass, stick to your guns mate, the missus will respect you for it....maybe. 😆 cheers 🍻
Love krombacher Clicked on your other video cus of the killswitch shirt but I’ll sub for what I’m thinking is a Metallica tattoo in your elbow. Beer n metal what more does a man need. Cheers man. Great reviews no no nonsense.
Finally got this at the beer store in London, Ontario, Canada. Just took my 1st taste and it's very nice. It's like a Warsteiner but more citrus and hop flavour vs the honey taste from warsteiner. Krombacher here is very expensive like everything in Canada, but it's 3.60 a can vs 2.95 for Warsteiner. I was going to get a 24 case until it rang in at 86 dollars!! fucking insane.
Went to Germany with a youngsters football team a few years back and went to a German boozer one evening whilst out there and this was a local pilsner great pilsner
My local Tescos sells the 660ml bottles of these, it's pretty much all I drink. So tasty and yummy. Don't know if you've tried the German Pilsner "Warsteiner" which is similar-but-different. I prefer Krombacher to Warsteiner, but it's a good alternative in the German pilsner style.
Absolutely my favourite beer. Shame it is so very expensive compared to some other brands. I pay 17€ for a case when other also very good tasting beers go for 9,99 or less.
Honestly it’s a really tough question. The quality & price of Rheinbacher make it an amazing beer. I think I may have slightly preferred the citrus edge I got with Krombacher and £5 for 3 660ml bottles is fantastic. I think it’s a stalemate 🤷🏻♂️
I think Krombacher might just edge it for flavour. It has the citrus edge which Rheinbacher lacks. Rheinbacher is still the superb and for the price still a 10/10
This is a good beer .... I don't think the Germans know how to make a bad pils. That said, compared to others of the same style coming out of that country this stuff is very average. Had this right next to a Wernesgruner and the "W" was clearly better ... can think of a number of other betters ones too.

It's my go-to beer I luv it. The smoothest and easiest to drink beer you can get here. No1 in DE
Love this Paul, sometimes i forget and take it for granted then go back only to be reminded its a cracking real world beer
Enjoyable review. I agree with you. The Germans do produce lovely Lagers and pilsners
I was never sure whether I liked Warsteiner or Krmobacher best, but eventually decided it was Krombacher. Great pilsner, best when not too chilled.
Good choice!

Warsteiner is nice as well

I concur my friend! Love me my Krombacher Pils. Have to request it here in NYC. Refreshing grain like, sweet and slightly bitter pilsner.
One of the best lagers around, excellent value for money. Good review Paul
Good one - thanks Paul. I've enjoyed the 5L keg. Very good review!
Been getting this in my Tesco’s for some
Time now what a find head and shoulders above most things I’ve had , warsteiner augstiener and jever are all solid similar beers
Just started trying these type of lagers (I’m more of a craft beer drinker) I really like this though very refreshing and very drinkable 👍🏻
Couldn’t agree more with Paul here. I tried Krombacher Pils before seeing Paul’s review and came to the same conclusion. It blew me away! In addition to everything said by Paul, the creamy mouthfeel seals the deal for me. 10/10
Lovely pilsner! Had several times. I'll definitely be doing a review soon. Good review 👍🏻
Did the review a few days ago. Still as refreshing as always. Gave you a quick mention in the video 👍🏻🍺

That sounds incredible. Adding this to my ‘To Do’ list.
Cheers mate 🍻

Solid beer Paul I agree. Got that Munich quaffable feel! Have this In wethers. Just wish we had more German brew readily available. Atb

I pay 1.65 for a 500 ml can of Krombacher but with much love because this lager is so good mister Paul 😋
Ive got this , staropramen and erdinger wheat beer in the fridge all good stuff.also got some budweiser pint cans but nobodys perfect 😎
Greetings from Germany,my favorite west-german pilseners are: Warsteiner, König Pilsener and Krombacher.
Crisp as an October morning

You got a good eye brother. Thanks for watching buddy. Cheers 🍻
Just managed to find this in my local French supermarket, €1,60 a bottle, looking forward to it!! 👍
lovely stuff 60 cents per can and 3.30 euro for 6 pack in spains mercadona always my weekly choice good beer beats the competition in mercadona cheers

In Germany for a crate of 20 it is 16 euros. Shitty tax we have to pay in the UK but 3 for £5 is good here. It's amazing stuff!
Went to Germany with a youngsters football team a few years back and went to a German boozer one evening whilst out there and this was a local pilsner great pilsner
I'm a new subscriber, thanks for this vid brought them today they are sensational, have you done a carling (premier) review 🍻 👏
That’ll do for me. I’m on it. Cheers

Great Review totally agree
Absolutely my favourite beer. Shame it is so very expensive compared to some other brands. I pay 17€ for a case when other also very good tasting beers go for 9,99 or less.
Oh, yes. I think this is an excellent beer.
Have ya had paulaner hell lager? It's in m and s. It's real good.
really epic beer! 🍺🍺🍺 prost!
Krombacher Pils v Warsteiner Pils would be a good match! Krombacher is smoother but that slightly burnt taste of Warsteiner makes it more complex.
Sometimes you get beer that tastes like you’re gonna have another one…lol
It's fantastic 4 years ago Aldi were selling 5l mini keys for a £10 amazing
£10 for a mini keg??? Where was I? 😆
I always get the 3 4 six quid at Tesco. You can't beat it. A*
Krombacher and Bitburger are the best German beers.
indeed
Great beer this
Bargain price too Paul as they are 660 ml bottles. I'm going to Tesco tomorrow!
Good beer review like a krombacher
This is a fantastic Pilsner. I love it. Less than 4 euro for 6 cans or bottles. German quality.
That’s a bargain if ever I saw one. Cheers 🍻
@@paulsbeerreviews I know! It's in the local supermarket in Spain.
Oh really, whereabouts in Spain are you?
@@paulsbeerreviews Las Palmas on Gran Canaria ...the sunny island off the coast of Africa. And we do have (and get) craft beers here.
*Heads off to my local Tesco's* ;)
Safe travels mate 🍻😆
Great beer Krombacher. 3 for a fiver 660mls is well priced too.
If you ever make it to Singapore look me up and we’ll crack open a few…
Hi Paul would you put this above warsteiner ?
It’s right up there with it. Without doing a taste comparison I couldn’t pick a winner. Two fantastic beers 🍺
You need to review Jever Pilsner. It's very good.
They sell this in cans in Aldi Düsseldorf for under a euro I was like a kid in a candy shop over there lol.
Oooh I bet. That’s an amazing price 🍻
Got this on draft in my local, nice drop....gives me a thick head after a few and drinks strong, not in the taste so much but the damage 🤣
Hate it when that happens 😆
Nice beer that
Which is best Aldi rhienbacher or krombacher ?
Honestly it’s a really tough question. The quality & price of Rheinbacher make it an amazing beer. I think I may have slightly preferred the citrus edge I got with Krombacher and £5 for 3 660ml bottles is fantastic. I think it’s a stalemate 🤷🏻♂️
I think rhienbacher is the aldi copy of kronebacher. Sorta like fake krombacher.
@@paulsbeerreviews ok Paul thanks for information 👍
Rheinbacher wheat beer is very good
Which is better. This or rheinbacher
I think Krombacher might just edge it for flavour. It has the citrus edge which Rheinbacher lacks. Rheinbacher is still the superb and for the price still a 10/10
Paul’s Beer Reviews definitely think is another level up. My local also had a Krom Dark and a Weissbier but this was the best and the one he kept!
What's better? Krombacher or Warsteiner?
Both very good. A side by side comparison might be needed before I answer that
Yeah this Is in the 3 for 5 quid deal in Morrisons and is one of the better ones in the deal. I think that Rheinebacher aldi beer is copying this.
Try Bitburger
I wonder whether you know that there's also Krombacher Hell of 5.0% ABV!
I wasn’t aware of it no. Really need to try that. Cheers 🍻
@@paulsbeerreviews You won't be disappointed, as it's much better than the Pils one that you've brilliantly reviewed.
@@paulsbeerreviews Krombacher finally goes to Hell.
