Been doing hair for a few years now and I can definitely weave some beautiful highlights but with combs like this, it goes a lot faster. I always hand weave the sections around the hairline and then use a weaving comb (not this brand) with fine spacing to do mostly everything in between. Always comes out beautiful and it cuts a lot of the time out. Not lazy, just faster. People always get caught up on “that’s lazy” or “I can do better without it” 🙄 Great, you’re a pro 👏 pat on the back for you and a ⭐️ sticker while we’re at it. Guess who else is a pro? Licensed cosmetologists who can use this comb wisely and get their clients out of the salon faster with gorgeous highlights. P.S. It goes a lot faster when you’re just using the comb and not showing people how to use it in a tutorial. 😉
Dont be assholes, some students had either crappy teachers or no one ever "bothered" with helping them out in the salon. This could help new stylists visualize the different types and thickness of weaves for foils.
I took a class in 2003 in beauty school I bought three of these stupid combs they slow you down and it's not a natural looking weave it's robotic looking!! Don't waste your money!! You will try it a few times and give it away!
I find it hilarious that some hairdressers get so offended! 😂 get over yourselves/(ego) someone put on here that she would put 20 foils at the rate of this tutorial which sounds very sloppy and yet they up charge you!! If the tutorial is going slow it’s because it’s a tutorial duh! It can be done quicker!
I don't think the point is to take the guesswork out of doing hair so much as its for ease, and time constraint. If one can achieve the same results faster, than without, I believe it's called work smarter, not harder. With that being said, I'm not a hairdresser, so I've no idea how long something like highlights should take, or if this tool would be of help, but I'd say the same goes for anyone who hasn't used the comb. People have been notoriously critical of many new inventions, why would this be any different? Lol!
Pro here and I don’t think that’s true. I work with one of the best stylists in the Midwest who’s an educator and have seen her use a smaller comb like this when she’s triple booked and only on the pariatal ridge and below sort of in the middle of the hair that you don’t see and then weaves her hairline normally. I think there’s a brand that came out with a pintail comb that has much finer teeth than this it’s EXTREMELY popular with some amazing stylists on Instagram right now and I’ve seen some really good and consistent results with it. I haven’t tried myself but god damn I hate doing baby lights on super thick long as hair so I may try it.

@@TheTerrormisu Thank you very much.
Smarter not harder!!!
I wish it had a finer tail so you can take a fiber section and also to fold the foil over tightly before placing it on the head.
Yes❤that’s the best information I’ve ever found oh here about highlighting omg saved me so much money DIY love it.

If you have to use this you shouldn’t be a hairdresser.
