I went to Surat BOMBAY MARKET which is the biggest textile hub in Asia. Obviously I went crazy shopping at this place. But I loved every bit of this experience.

Aur bargaining ho sakta tha..You were so excited after seeing those sarees.. shopping rule..jab bhi aapko koi chiz pasand aaye tab, do not overreact infront of Shopkeeper..then wo price utna nhi kam nahi karega..u were going crazy while seeing the sarees..Surat me, you need to bargain more specially in Bombay Market.
I would have given 2500 max for these two sarees...not more than that.
Yeah right ...i live in surat ...meri friend ki saree ki shop hai and may esi market may accounting bhi karta th nd dukkan wale ne thagg liyah hai inko ..because yeh sare 2200 may mil jati

I am from surat so Bombay market is not such good for shopping and next time do visit millinum textile market on ring road that is best place for designer shopping and you get good collection

Lady you went to the wrong place in Surat this nust have been Bombay market. You must visit the market ahead of sahara darwaza in side the building where you actually get cheapest saree
If you come from station then cross Sahara darwaza and visit shops inside building. They are orignal saree manufacturers shop.

Here sarees are at very high cost n don't know if it is of good quality. Since march till now still purchasing Indian clothes as my son is getting married. Bahut mehenge wale kappre hame 70 % n 40% me milli hein. Ye sab dekhkar pata chala kitni sastey me mil sakta agar covid na hota to. But we like what we shop eventhough.
