The master of meta-comedic delivery. Nobody else can manipulate an audience or faux- blame them like him

Great reactions, thanks. This piece is a clip from Stewart's TV show "Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle". He had 24 half hour episodes over 4 seasons, and each episode is a whole piece - the Maltese Flies joke has a long buildup before this clip which makes it even funnier.
It's brilliant to see sometime reacting to Stew. He gets far too little time on UA-cam, and you really seem to be loving his material. Thanks very much 😊

Loving all the Stewart Lee reactions! Definitely recommend his clip on Brexit, one of my absolute favourite Stewart Lee lines in that clip - you'll know what I'm talking about when you watch 😂

It's amazing that he knows what reaction the audience will have, so he can write an entire bit around the reaction to an intentionally failed joke.

It’s amazing when four people walk on to a stage with instruments and they all start playing the same song at the same time. Makes you think 🤔

Love you for simply watching this. Try his deconstruction of the hymn "All Things Bright and Beautiful", when he was much younger.

he's a very clever comedian but you are clever(er) consumer and that is joyous - THANK YOU but most importantly thank Robin Williams ;P

    Good reaction .
Stewart makes reference to another comedian called doug Stanhope who he worked with Doug Stanhope is probably the best stand-up comic from America he's incredible you should react to him especially his mother's death story

Just discovered your Stewart Lee reaction videos . Love seeing you discover this genius of stand-up! Saw on your "Anti-Islam" one you said you'd like to see "Immigration", but were a bit concerned aboit it. Find it if you can! The clip variously known as Immigraion/UKIP/Paul Nuttall/Coming Over Here is from this same TV series and totally brilliant ... Unfortunately it seems to have vanished from UA-cam at the mo (apart from an audio only version with a vid showing an argument thread about vaccines ... ???).
I also recommend "Political Correctness" (from a small club gig years ago, blue background). The longest version starts with anti Islam, goes to political correctness and then (on a very dark topic) not only the funniest use of sound effects ever, but a critique of the humanity of some journalism, esp when it comes to women. It's great stuff.

Hi Thandi, I've only just discovered your channel and I'm especially enjoying your Stewart Lee reviews. For me one of his best pieces is titled Stewart Lee's "Patronizing Liberal Delusion". It's all sorts of mixed up but has so many very funny twists. I'm pretty sure you'd enjoy watching it.
    All the best

It's much more obvious live to know he's joking. I sat near the front in Poole and he called me 'typical fan of me. You sychophantic wanker.' And it was bloody funny. Especially to the pals I was with

You should watch the 4 series of Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle through in full to really enjoy it, instead of in clips like this. It's probably the best stand up TV show that has ever been made.

It’s a portion of longer half hour set. The references at the end were a callback to earlier in the set.

I mean, Stewart isn’t wrong about Ricky Gervais’ Afterlife. I’m not sure if you’ve seen it, but it’s about as well written as a 7 years old’s first school essay. Actually that is a little harsh. Some of the essays I’ve read that were written by seven-year-olds were actually pretty good.
