Hi Anurag, I could relate with many of your view points because I also come from Sikar, Rajasthan... The debt burden and Tomorrowland for women etc... Thank you for speaking!
One of the reasons many arranged marriages occur at a young age is that teenage and adolescent hormones are volatile, can't tell difference between love and lust, and emotional intelligence (EQ) is still developing. As a result, young individuals may be more easily persuaded or influenced into making life-altering decisions. Unfortunately, this can be particularly detrimental for girls. Furthermore, the societal issues discussed here can perpetuate this cycle from generation to generation, making it challenging to break free from these entrenched patterns
They do. But the same ration applies.. 5%.. because they are Indian. So the same Indian problems persist. There is casteism and classism in these sub culture of India as well. But retaliation and violence only occurs in the hindus and the Muslims.
Really happy to listen your thoughts. But I have a question that when you criticize on caste structure of Hindus the same prevails among Christians and muslims, why dont you talk about it.
I feel the channel sponsors are German who want to inculcate western philosophy of love into Indian youth. I dont deny what is being discussed in podcast , the issue of caste based violence is really concerning for India of 21st century, but this can be said as cherry picked version of Indian society. There are numerous things that can be discussed for understanding universality of this topic.
Totally agree ❤ I married my long time girlfriend. I got her at expense of losing my family's connection. Some went overtly cold, some implicitly. Society makes sure that rule breakers ) according to them) pay the price for upsetting norms. Anyways this is a simple way that I chose to live with my life in tomorrow's world. But it's sad to know that many youngesters could not resist the pressure/ temptation of a status quo system where you marry according to me and we give you respect/ tangible/ intangible inducements work.
@thezoldics7648Whatever makes you feel better man. No one will shame you for a caste marriage. But don't shame other people for an inter caste marriage behind their backs either.
"The beautiful river of love goes through the sewage of society "
"Love is basically lack of options" Mic drop 🎤
Hurting or killing your child in the name of protecting your bloodline is insane. We need more in depth conversations about it.

Social Boycott is very necessary. Individualism will only lead to disaster.
