here an unexpected combination between the souls of Mac Demarco, Jeff Buckley and Tamino, a true masterpiece. Who'd think we would be living in this kind of times.. thank you for making these!
My mom died a week ago today and I’m back home in my kitchen alone from a day with friends. Just me and my thoughts. This hits in a profoundly painful way.
Amazing stufff! I find the chorus is a little shaky at times but when listening to the Tamino version, one can tell the sound is alike in a few instances. Mostly tho, the sound is altered and sounds exactly like Jeff Buckley..his pitch and tone. I find it even adds a few vocal breaks in the verses..or pauses...that aren't there in Tamino's version. Both are great btw. This is where AI shines...adding to musicians that have passed....great ones at that. RIP Jeff.
Please try with the Meltdown Festival audio next, would be great to hear a clear Jeff vocal on that recording. Boy with the Thorn in His Side, Didos Lament, Corpus Christi.....
@@AIudio maybe yea. I can’t recall. The whole meltdown festival is available in that poor quality. I’d be real curious to see what the AI vocal would bring to it really. When I listen to it, I really strain into it! Didos lament I think was only ever in the meltdown festival. From my memory
@@AIudio Did you make the cover or was that also created by the AI sorry I have no clue how it works? If there is a way to find the sheet music or chords or tab that would so cool
Jeff Buckley must be rolling over in his grave. He always protected his creativity. He fought against his record company to do what he wanted to do. He never sang the same way twice, he was inventive, he loved to improvise. So this disembodied voice is really very far from the emotion he aroused. And then, doing this with an artist who can no longer give his opinion, it’s really very limiting…
you do realise there is an original artist behind this? the uploader has processed the vocals to sound a bit more like Buckley but the original singer is right there in this track, look up Tamino my kind of woman, nobody knows what jeff would think had he lived because he might have embraced tools like this, he was very protective of his music but this isnt his music also because the author isnt hiding the original artist its getting them exposure as well, Jeff was a brilliant mimic and was heavily influenced by other artists and on his first album there were 2 cover versions and most of the songs were co written with other band members, people seem to like this and dont be surprised if record companies dont start doing this with or without the artists permission, nobody reads the small print.
I know Tamino and I love the way he sings. Jeff Buckley is my favorite artist. The problem here is that it doesn’t sound like Jeff Buckley. That the emotion that passes in the voice of Tamino and even more of Jeff Buckley are not present. I do not deny the work or, no doubt, the admiration of the person who did the work. That Jeff Buckley was influenced by many other artists, he often talked about it, that sometimes he imitated others on the mode of humor, of course. However, every time he made a cover, he made it his own. The problem here is that by choosing a great vocalist like Jeff Buckley, it is difficult to get a result that matches the quality of his voice. Moreover, I would like to know a little more about the artist who does this work and what motivates him. And I would like to apologize for my English, it is not my mother tongue.@@knoxieman
Your English is just fine, I'm also a huge Buckley fan from 1994 when the singles started on the radio, since Jeff passed away I have always been drawn to similar sou ding artists and this is why this appeals to me, if I get the same emotion from the music then it's worked, each to their own though and I understand if people have a problem with it, the channel owner has uploaded one of his own songs on here which is actually very good, I'm thinking Jeff's mother will be keeping a close eye on things though because of course these AI voices will have been trained from recordings of Jeff but unless she can prove the recordings used were copyright it's very tricky, I think the law will have to change on this as we move forward.
Yeah I don't think there is any way to debate that it isn't disrespectful. But I think it's up to each person whether they are fine with it or not. There are probably some worst problems out there to be concerned about, I think. Definitely a touchy subject through

WTFFFF es buenísima, es el mejor cover hecho por una IA que en la historia oiré.

amazing voice. the only thing that gives it away is the slightly clunky guitar. jeffs guitar playing was only eclipsed by his voice...
Yes the guitar playing isn't great but the voice is decent that's for sure
bro OMG.
Would you be able to do a cover of Thank You by Led Zeppelin?
Interesting, the ai had taken Tamino's cover of MKOW and applied a tinge of JB to it. Tamino is near Buckley in terms of vocals.
