I have lived with CES for over 22 years and glad you mentioned it. It left me wheelchair bound and affects my bladder and bowels. I’ve had 4 spinal surgeries.
Andrea furlan... top star.. explainations are soothing, though never relieving. I like that pose of yours with a racquet in ur hand.. sort of comfy advert for sports , strains and other sort of tennicoit ball injuries.
@DrAndreaFurlan thank you very much for sharing your knowledge. I attended my first MSK clinic appointment today and used information from your great video upload to engage in an educated conversation with my health provider. I felt very empowered thanks to you. Xx
Dr Furlan, what would you suggest to treat or improve my mobility and pain with advanced osteoarthritis causing Spondylolisthesis or being caused by it? I have had 3 MRIs (the last one about 8 years ago) and it progressed from arthritis to severe. It progressed from affecting L3/4 to affecting all my “L”s. Yet I have not been referred to a specialist or given any advice. I am in BC without a family doctor as there are none. I am still keeping my AB family doctor for now. What should I ask her to refer me to? Thank you!
My recent MRI shows "Stenosis", so says my doctor but I haven't had an opportunity to get expert opinion or look at it yet. Bladder capacity seems limited, I thought I could have a giant bladder stone?!!
In the United States if you have United Health Care they will refuse to allow any types of MRI tests. First you must ask for a Xray only, and if nothing shows up in the X-ray then insurance company computers will automatically refuse MRI. That means you will not get treatment for your pain, maybe physical therapy only because it is supercheap for insurance companies to pay for. But MRI and possible Surgery is very expensive and that is a huge NO NO in the United States, if you have United Health Care it's not going to be permitted.
@lovepeace8918 oh man. So sorry. I hope USA health system can be revamped soon. Its sickening that in a first world country, citizens do not have access to good free healthcare. I dint advocate for vigilant actions but no wonder people are behind the deny depose guy..
