I wish I had 4 hands for this comment 👍👍👍👍
Amazon and the NFL needs to negotiate to flex some of these Thursday games because that game was horrific.
They already did last week, and kind of a thin week for it besides
@@elizabethchase6528 ya realize these get scheduled BEFORE we know the teams stink.
@@Kalbuir66everyone knows that, but neither team was threatening to be really good this season
@pearl… all the more reason to stick them on Thursday. It’s an absolute joke the NFL plays on Thursday to begin with, it shouldn’t be good teams, good teams should play on Sunday, like they are supposed to.
Thursday games are slop fests with tired/unhealthy players playing on 3 dats rest when they should have double that time. It’s insane. “Player safety” is a big priority for the NFL though.
Broncos Chargers game was flexed to Thursday last week
Ref at the top clearly comes in and blows the play dead. Moments later, the Referee says it's a touchdown. Even if he wasn't down by contact, the play is over when the ref blows the whistle.
Yeah, like you see players stop pursuit because of the whistle.
Yea ref was clearly a bears fan and wanted to see someone, anyone score a TD.
Yeah but if for some really weird chance they did overturn the call and decide that he was not down by contact, it would have been stupid of him not to run all the way into the touchdown just to make sure. It's better to waste the extra three or four seconds and make sure then to not waste the time and then not get the touchdown.
Accurate, and I'm sure the refs knew that too. But we all know the refs do what they want in spite of what their rules may say. This being one example of so many.
@@itsPerceptionRefs used to blow the whistle and order players to stop so that we didn't get so much dumb and chaotic situations involving defenders attempting to force fumbles and return them. Pre 2000, you didn't see 5 defenders holding ball carriers up for 5 minutes trying to strip the ball, because Refs used to blow plays dead much faster.
This game violated the Geneva convention

I knooow
👍
0:07 you can hear the whistle. Understandable why the Seahawks were angry. However, this was the most Bears thing ever though to end up not counting anyways lol.
This game will forever be remembered as the most Thursday Night Football game of all time! 😂 From chaotic turnovers to questionable calls, it truly delivered... just not in the way fans hoped. 🏈
Boy, these kids would freak out if I told them my Steelers won a game 3-0 against the dolphins back in 2007.
But at least that game has an excuse to be low scoring.

My wife asked me last night, “Why aren’t you watching Thursday Night Football tonight?” I told her, “Its the Bears and Seahawks.” She understood.
haha. same.
Can we just rule this game a tie and spare the poor viewers' time? Neither team deserves to win this
Bears had 2 touchdowns called back, both of them terrible calls. The bears most definitely deserved this if you watched the game.
@Horrifyd The Bears are guaranteed a 1st round pick between #5-10 due to this loss, and Seattle is eliminated from the playoffs anyway because they can’t catch the Rams on SoV (which was likely to occur even if Washington didn’t beat Atlanta). Both teams got what they deserved.
@@Domthedominator7 I’m saying the bears deserved the win this game, not including other factors
Brother in law watched the game, he always says football is boring. He was so smug throughout the game 😂
He needs to watch an actual good game 😂😂
I'm 65 years old and a lifelong bears fan. I've seen alot of really bad teams over the decades and this is definitely one of the worst. One winning season in the last 12 years. This franchise needs to be blown up and rebuilt from the top down.
Tell me this then....
Was he touched and down or no he grabbed it and should've been a td??
You want the Browns?
@NikeTopGoat Even if he wasn't down by contact, you can see all the players looking back cause the play had already been whistled dead which should mean no TD. He probably doesn't house that if the refs don't blow it dead anyway.
Bears look like a confused junior high team.
The refs look even worst.they need to be locked up.
With the exception of 1985, they have been this pretty much my whole life (born in 1971). Sigh.
@DaDitka
On a positive note, the Bears also won championships in 1933, 1940, 1941, 1943, 1946, & 1963.

Thursday Night Football somehow saved the worst for last.
This was truly one of the games of our time.
All this game needs is longer dance routines in the end zones
And, Mr Know It All Michaels, that’s why you ALWAYS cross the goal line if you’re unsure.
This aged well. Might want to save the "know it all" comments for a time when he is wrong, will save you some embarrassment.
DK was about to chase that boy down
It did look like that Chicago player picked the pocket of the Seattle player and ran off,
that what happens in Chicago, no down by contact, no whistle
They were in Chicago... refs still screwed the Bears.
@@Scorpious187He was never getting anything close to a touchdown out of that if Metcalf and Lockett continued their pursuit. He wouldn't even have made it off the pile had the ref not blown it dead. Crazy looking play, but it really changed nothing in the game.
@@mantis1s1k*. Maybe, maybe not.
You can see in the replay he is on his knees with the ball, stands up and runs. Even if he didn't get touched by a seahawk, everyone was staring at the refs because it was blown dead by the refs. Very unlucky he houses that if the seahawks are still playing. MAYBE he runs it back a bit putting chicago closer to getting a FG and they tie the game. Def not a scoop and score tho.
NFL's spin: Two championship caliber defenses take on the elements in a nail biter
0:47 where’s he down at?
The runner lost the ball before he was down, but the person who recovered the fumble was kneeling on the ground AND touching the runner when he recovered the ball, so HE was down as soon as he gained possession.
0:07 he seems to be making contact with the Seahawk player while on the ground. If that's the case, then the call was correct.
Yup, ball comes out and it's a fumble, there's no question there, but as soon as he picks up the ball and gains possession, not only is his knee down, but he's also touching the opposing player, down by contact.
@@-2high2fly-which seas hawks players was he in contact with? All those jerseys are bears players

The Bears continue to get a "double doink" in more ways than one😂😂😂
This was the 2nd touchdown refs took off the board lol
Well technically, it was never a touchdown, so they didn't "take" anything.
@@TruthDefined4life technically it was a touchdown. All scoring drives are automatically video reviewed. That's when the touchdown call was "reversed." The referee explains that to the entire crowd over the PA system which we see and hear in this video. The other touchdown was also reversed because of a penalty. Two touchdowns were overturned in this game.
@Whoo_Boy Sooo...it wasn't a touchdown then. Thanks for confirming.

"They giveth, they taketh" .. CLASSIC
Down by contact is criminal.
Yea I’m just rewatching this at .25x playback speed. He isn’t touched by a seahawk defender at all. This may be a use of rule 17?
Yeah ..he would have had his knees on the ground before the strip but the guy tackling his legs was under him .. good call
This is bs I'm watching this several times where the hell was he down at???? Not a single defender touched him.......
Watched it live. They didn’t show the angle here but they had a straight on shot for one of the replays that showed a clear fumble, clear recovery, and clear down by contact. The call ended up being correct. The early whistle was horseshit but luckily didn’t end up mattering
@jb17415 oh okay nfl is ridiculous then. Thanks for the clarification
The fact that this would’ve more than likely won the game & it came back makes it funnier
I'm amazed how many times in NFL games it will be 3rd and 2, and they'll call a passing play. The QB comes under a heavy rush, scrambles around and is sacked because all his receivers are running 20 yard routes not even looking back.
Dem boys be super smart and high level thinking machines
You're obviously not a high level football player. In the NFL, it's not about winning. It's about "gettin' PAID" and dancing in the end zone like Shaniqua.
This is why you never give up!!
Al Michael's announced his retirement after this game! 😀
As a Bears fan, the best part of this is Al Michaels absolutley demolishing the Bears season as the Kyler waltzes in to the endzone

I didn't hit a single leg of my parley. That's...actually impressive.
Seahawks -2.5+ DK anytime td. 🫠🔫
@Sierra_Whiskey22 should've wait for Sunday, Josh Allen and the other guys. Just unbelievable.
It’s such a strange rule that if the player touches the grass he’s down, but if the player is on top of another player, and even though the player he is on top of is touching the grass, he’s still in play. The exact same thing happens with the goal line sneaks. As long as another player is on top of someone else the ball is still live.
The refs dont like touchdowns
Neither do the Bears or Seahawks
The title gave me a seizure and I still don’t understand it
If it was KC would they have counted it???? 😮😮😮😮😊
Yes they would have counted it
Unironically yes
No. Remember, in SB LVII they took a catch, football move, fumble, scoop-and-score away from KC because they needed to keep Philadelphia in the game.
If the refs hadn't been shading calls for Philly that entire SB, the score would have been 49-21 and everyone would have shut off their TVs.
