I am absolutely shocked by all the negativity here, this is a fantastic performance! It's been a few years since I played this, but it sounds right to me... Your musicality is wonderful, and it's always nice to see someone who realizes accuracy is more important than speed! Your accuracy under this amount of pressure is really amazing! (I would have been VERY nervous to play in front of that many people!)

Yeah, if you call his outer mallets that are so far up in some places that their probably tryin to fly away, a high level of technique, sure... also, his index fingers are crammed into his hands so he can't get a good interval stretch in, but other than that, sure, great technique...
I hate to add to another negative comment, but you are playing this too slow and too quite when you should be louder. I suggest you go back to the sheet music and look at the bpm and dynamics. It's literally like listening to funeral music up in here.

I think it's lovely, silent or not. Absolutely loved learning and playing the piece.
