What exactly are you doing when subbing your safeties for linebackers? Is there a strategy of which safety should go where? How many safeties are in the play?
@@Sportsgamerz so if I understand you correctly, your starter safeties remain where they are and you sub your backup safeties for your linebackers and then potentially put your linebackers at DE if they are better pass rushers than your current DE’s?
Yeah nobody wants to play chess in madden all these cats want is one play defense and 1-3plays on offense cause they trash.. UA-cam is killing Madden thx guys 😢
I thought I was going crazy. Wide open everything while I was in match. I went back and watched videos and yeah, safeties would leave streaks to go cover slants and quarter flats just standing there watching every thing go by!
Match is still broken. If the rb is doing a wheel route the quarter flat assignment on the left will cover him until he runs 20 yards and then leaves him wide open. I hope this gets fixed soon
Match is still broken. The patch didn't do anything besides the box check. If you run four verts vs palms, cover 6 , the nickel leaves the middle reciever for a one play td. If you run levels sail vs qrts or cover 3 seam, the solo cb will still guard the flat route with the quarter/seam flat and leave the Te wide open for a one play td. Match is still broke. If you run four verts in bunch nobody guards the Te wheel route. Another big gain.
That zone still broken because in real life even 9:12 you as the flat defender in the 3-3-5 would go straight to the flat if the back first movement is running a route and the backside of the coverage would man match which they didn’t they stayed backside

Y’all be saying all this stuff, but when you are playing online, you don’t have time to adjust each player on defense before the guy you are playing hikes the ball.

do you know if custom zone drops override match settings? like if I have my zones set to certain drops will it still play match coverage if I have match on? thanks
Hey bro I purchased the same book as you and I’m playing mut my first year sorry if this is a noob question. When I pick cover 4 drop and try to audible to 3-3 cub I don’t have cover 4 show 2 my play says cover 3 buzz and I’m using the same book as you , no also I am unable to substitute my safeties to linebackers like you did for some reason. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Nickel 3-3 allows you to put safeties at all 3 LB spots. Nickel 3-3 Cub only allows you to put a safety at MLB. Sub Safeties at all 3 LB spots in Nickel 3-3 then audible down to 3-3 cub and now you have safeties at all LB spots in 3-3 cub.
Didn’t know that but some about this madden throws maybe the mechanics cause worst start in years on this game. One thing I can say they need to change the speed with a cb or safety get a pic you can never catch them witch is unrealistic

It's still broke lol now the flat defenders just sit there and cover grass while the rb runs his swing route/ arrow

I was scared to match specifically palms and quarters because tight streaks were being left wide open with certain route combos.. Is that fixed yet

You don’t use zone drops with match

Like when I base align press I’m worried about the streaks on the outside because he’ll get a free release or he’ll just bump him and get burnt
This defense is also the best balanced D in the game because of the run pursuits also!

You can only do safeties but you just do it at the play call screen
