- On September 17th, 2022, the finest Steinholders from across the country attended the German-American Oktoberfest NYC at Central Park's SummerStage to compete in the 2022 Hofbräu USA Masskrugstemmen Championship! This is the men's competition, won by David Sturzen with a time of 12 minutes and 37 seconds, representing Hofbrauhaus Las Vegas!

I won a stein holding contest at my local brewery last year… my time was 2:33 minutes…. These guys are total beasts!!
Anyone else notice 11 fuck everything up with the line because he decided he wanted to grab a beer in the middle when he walked up instead of the next one in line 😂
The way he took off his cool hat in the beginning and set it down so carefully, I knew he wasn't there to play and was in the zone.
That guy on the left near the end has excellent stamina. That beer barely budged the whole time.
I only put this on because I thought they were all going to down the beers 🍺 😮 what a disappointment 😕

There are lots of guys in that lineup that should have been fouled out already as early as 4 minutes. You're not supposed to be allowed to lean back, but the judges were letting ones who were doing it significantly get away with it. Also, their arms and hands were dropping. The arm and stein are supposed to remain level.

Half these contestants aren’t even doing it right one guy dropped his arm and picked it back up wrong another guy had his arm bent wrong And one guy is leaning too far back that’s illegal also
The only way to win is to cheat. The oneswho win are usually the ones with the largest pecks/breasts since they just rest their arm on it the whole time.
