great video, applying to medicine this year and birmingham right now is basically my top choice, love seeing this opinion from someone who seems like a really genuine guy who's been through the process recently
In my Opinion wow completely forgot about this comment, ended up going to Nottingham for medicine, didn’t even get an interview at Birmingham for some reason they offered me bio med instead
Ryan Jones I asked for feedback but they said they can’t provide individual feedback for each student apparently, maybe it was UCAS as I got 680 AVG, because A level predictions were A*A*A and GCSE were all 9-8s so I acc don’t know tbh why I didn’t even get an interview
Sir Shaba wow that’s very surprising I guess you were just very unlucky, I got 695 for my UCAT and all 8s in gcses except for maths and English which I got 7 and 6 respectively, I’m not really expecting an offer that much but I guess we will see
This was so helpful i want to apply to study medicine at Birmingham as well. I just booked by UCAT a couple hours ago and i shedded so many tears today because i was in such a conflicted state of mind because the test was giving me so much anxiety but this video was so motivating and seeing a fellow black person has lifted my spirits.
Very nice of you for uploading these videos - they’re really helpful!! If it isn’t a hassle I urge you to upload some more of these where you give some extra advice or maybe a q&a?
Hey guys, I’ve got a range of GCSEs. I have one 6, two sevens three eights and a couple of 9s. I got a 6 in maths. Do you think I’ll be able to get in? Xxx
Yeah I’m pretty sure they only look at your top 8 GCSEs so I doubt your 6 will reduce your chances. A 7 is an A and 8s/9s are A*s so you’ll probably be fine
Hello? I am from France 🇫🇷. Please , is it necessarily to do ukat test and work experience in health to apply in uni of médecine in Birmingham? 🙏 thank you for you’re help . Merci 😊 beaucoup 👍

Which uni did you end up going to?!

Sir Shaba do you know why they didn’t give you an interview? Like your UCAT or a level predictors?

Thank youu!! This was great
Thanks for this. Any advice on textbooks (which ones we need to get and how we can get them)?
Any tips for UOB interview?
What undergrad did you do, to get into medical school? Or is medicine already a undergrad in the university of Birmingham?
Is the series still continuing
did you not continue this series?

What do you consider as good GCSE’s for Birmingham university ?
8 A*s and above
Redaina Afridi yeh by 8 A*s I mean 8 (8/9) grades, ngl that’s for most medical schools in the uk
