I am a believer in the one God, who is our Father and his only begotten son. Jn 17:3 Your reading of these verses indicates a you believe the Son to be a preexistent being. I have a simple question. What kind of creature is the preexistent son of God?

That is the misconception that Greek philosophy brought into the church as they associated Plato’s demiurge to be Christ. The truth is; The Only True God, our Father, created the Heavens and the Earth with Jesus ‘in mind’ or ‘on account of’.

But there is only One God, The Father. And to which of the angels did God ever say you are my son today I have begotten you. So he could not have been an angel. Jesus in his angel form was beside God acting as a Master Worker. Proverbs 8:30. God worked through this Firstborn son of His to bring all creation into being. This son being the exception logically. That is why Jesus refers to himself as God's only begotten son at John 3:16.

(Galatians 4:4) But when the full limit of the time arrived, God SENT HIS SON, who was BORN OF A WOMAN and who was under law, This is called a transformation of a spirit being into a human being. See Philippians 2:7.

Once his human experience was over, this angel was made better than the angels (Heb 1:4). Only an angel can be compared to angels.

John 20:21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! *As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”* We must read and understand the Hebraic thinking not our ‘Western culture’. We are sent as agents of Christ just the same as Jesus being God’s agent.
