Jodi and Ian are the best actors chosen ever for the pilot episode.... Jodi never fails us she is doing a great job. her acting is so natural I think angelica is trying very hard over acting tuloy ang result sa part nya... parang comical ata ang dating nya sa mga scenes...

Wow! My American wife watched the 1st episode of "The Promise" on Netflix -- with TAGALOG DIALOG and ENGLISH SUBTITLES. She enjoyed it so much that she continued to BINGE-WATCH -- and finished the entire 100 Episodes in ONE WEEK! I think my wife doesn't love me anymore because she has a crush on this IAN VENERACION guy!
Lol, great sense of humour, I dont blame yr wife for the binge watching. The story lines of many philipino movies are wonderful to watch with huge life lessons....some of us all around the world have been watching other series I will not name, we watched over 100 episodes as they were so interesting and totally enjoyed it but didn't have subtitles so you have to guess what's happening with conversations n stick to pictures 🤣🤣 it's so refreshing to have subs as infact it's also advertising for the production so it should be considered always.

The thing here is, the directors and creative team of the series doesn't want to duplicate version 1 kasi nandiyan na. Version 2 will be a little bit different from version 1 in terms of yun pagatake sa character. And all I can say is nothing can beat the original but this one is actually good medyo iniba lang ang pagatake sa kwento. Cinematography wise, hindi pinapabayan ang quality ng palabas, pinaghandaan ng husto. And saying that KN wouldn't even match the original, well let's wait and see wala pa naman sila sa picture pero I think they can pull this off.

This elevator scene (where Amor and Eduardo stucked up together) was the best. Pangako Sa Yo original also coincidentally has the elevator scene, where Amor(Eula Valdez) and Eduardo(Tonton Gutierrez) also gets stucked up together. That was in the original PSY Book 2.
I wish it was more about Jodi, Ian, and Angelica. I'm tired of the Kathniel love team being shoved down our throats! For the sheeple fanatics, don't tell me to not watch this because I love the story. It will just be a bit hard watching when I see them because they leave a bitter taste in my tongue. Thankfully I'm not the only one who thinks this. We really need a new fresh couple with amazing chemistry. The sheeple fanboys and fangirls will eventually grow up and move on to the next big couple anyway.
