@@TollesonLife , you're right down the road from us! How long in Oregon? We're in southwest WA...are you making it up the 5 to WA? Staying in the northwest for the summer? Canada? Alaska?
@@TollesonLife ....did you two get caught in that ferocious windstorm last week? YIKES! Port of Washington? Where/What? Port of Long Beach, but where is Port of WA? BC...... We're finally heading out to Deer Park, Spokane, then Couer d'Alene then Polsons, MT. You're heading north, we're heading a little east! Hopeful of catching up with you two somewhere and taking a look at your coach. Love the colors on your bus. We have a Phaeton QBH, NASA paint, which we enjoy, but given a choice, how do you beat Fire Opal? Stunning. Stay safe!
Wonderful set up! Beautiful bus & trailer! I made the same mistake about NOT having a side door on our trailer. If I gain anymore weight I’ll have to exit the nascar way like u. We have been blessed with our 40’ bus and a stacker trailer to haul my wife’s Jeep, my Harley, bikes, Drum set and wardrobe. Our total length is 65’. Fortunately we have been able to get Pull thru site as we travel. More than not the extended stay places have a trailer drop. I like to say that we don’t have an RV…. We have an RC (Rolling Condo)! Safe Travels to u both!!!
As a full-timer I love seeing how others tackle this issue. I like how the trailer lets you switch up to a vehicle that is not/or cannot normally be flat towed. You also have the added space for storage. I think it would be easy to get overweight on that trailer so I am glad to hear you are keeping an eye on that. Thanks for sharing.
Hey you two, great vid as always. Just wanted to say thanks for this particular vid as we have a 33 ft trailer for behind our MH. We are not full time and just do a few trips each year and other than a racing guy that lives near us you guys are the only ones that I know that tow a trailer. My wife is concerned that we wouldn’t be able to find spots for the rig and trailer. So you helped put her mind to rest. Thanks again and we would love to ride with ya. Ride safe!
Love it. Looks like you guys put together a great combo that works right for your needs. As for the damage done to your trailer, appears it was someone pulling in on the left who hit your trailer with their right rear view mirror. And of course they didn't stay parked next to you. They either moved to the other side or went to a digging location all together. Hopefully some repays them the same favor!
Absolutely love your videos. I’m learning a lot as I prepare to retire and travel the country in a class A motor home. So thank you for all the great content.
Great video! The trailer option looks perfect. I hope you’re enjoying your full time status. We have been full time for just over three years and are still having a great time and experiences. Stay safe and hope to see you on the road someday!! Thanks for sharing 😊🇺🇸
Good to see Clay again....you guys are awesome. The scratch on the trailer is probably from a overhanging object from a truck bed... like 2x4 boards. They just came to close while turning. Thanks for sharing.
Hey I just watched you video on sphere fish canyon ride. great ride. just wanted to let you know at the end you can go left to Deadwood but try going right on 85 wow what a beautiful ride the curve roads and the scenery.
Love it. You two are doing it right. We like bringing all of our toys also. We have it a little easier with the Vette. It's a convertible so I just have the top down and climb out. We just got back from Florida. A great trip with no issues. Yay. Take care and be safe
Nice rig. You might check with your trailer dealer and see if an Escape Door can be installed in the area of your car door on the trailer. This way you open the trailer escape door then your car door will open through the escape door and you get out. Then you can shut both doors. I saw your rv park neighbor with bikes on top of the trailer. How do you get those on and off? Try that with your Harley LOL
Looks liek you might be able to squeeze through the door of the car..Have you thought about cutting a pool noodle in half and taking it to the side of the trailer so you dont ding the door? Juat a thought. Trailer option looks like it works well for sure.
I grew up in camper vans and motorhomes, while towing a trailer full of dirt bikes. I'll be interested to see how you find it towing such a rig in the long run, and where you may have trouble with length. Hopefully I can follow your example, and there will be no issues. I'm planning a similar set up myself late this year. My trailer will include a small shop area in the front cap instead of a bike though. Happy trails!
Hey Kaylee! We have been all over the country and so far no issues. Just have to look a little "harder" sometimes for space that can accommodate our length.
like the new trailer.. I have a trailer my brother and I own to tow our bikes. I noticed your wheel chock for your bike but we use Biker bar motorcycle hold down and love it. saw it in Sturgis years ago also for added protection we use Big Daddy 2inch straps best straps I ever bought. Have safe travels.maybe some day our paths will cross.
That is a great trailer. I hope it doesn’t limit you too much as far as campgrounds. I’ll bet that scratch/dent really pissed you off, because I can see you really take care of your stuff.
Thanks dj16911. It limits us some but nothing we can't overcome. Yeah, it was frustrating, especially with it being the 1st day on the road. Appreciate ya watching!
Holy smokes you guys. I have a 17' and thought it was long....Awesome. That big rig can pull it for sure. Nice setup. One tip...change the overhead vent to metal. It will take away some light but after a few years, that plastic one will disintegrate. I found that the hard way, after a storm and water coming in. Changed it to the metal with a fan. Works great. Added some battery LED's and light is no problem. I also utilized the E-track on the sides which is a lifesaver.
If you know ahead of time your going on a long trip where space is limited. Maybe a Moped and a Suzuki Sidekick an a small UHAUL. Just a crazy thought from James in Phenix City, Al. Safe travels.
I'm thinking you could probably back the BMW in and exit out of the car door easier with the side door of the trailer open. But you'll be moving the bike more often.
I was curious as well as many other People as to how you were going to haul Bike And tow vehicle, My concern was getting in-and-out of parks If I pulled a trailer like yours Now I just have to figure out how to haul my side-by-side I guess I'm wanting to take too many toys lol. If you would keep us informed of getting in-and-out of parks , that was my main concern Thanks for the great info And safe travels
Hey Ronald, yes sir I sure will. I can tell you I have been pleasently surprised how well the trailer tracks behind the Motorhome. I was concerned at first but man, its not been an issue....So far. Will try to capture more video of arriving and departing rv park in the future.

Hey Kenny, since we were hitting the road full time for a while, we needed more storage space that didn't take away from the living space. The Class A provided that for us over the 5th wheel.
Figuring out how we want to bring our motorcycle with us is something we are working on too. I really like having my Jeep for exploring the out of the way areas and I don't think it would fit in a trailer. Leaning toward the the bike lift behind the motorhome with a 44ft tag for now

Hey Steve! Yes we will have some Sturgis videos coming out so stay tuned! Right now, all of my storage bends are staying in place but will be improving it as I go forward. Thanks for watching.
Terrific video. Thanks a lot. Allison and I are in the process of buying a 41ft 2017 Newmar Ventana. It's a tag axle and we're going through a lot of the same thought process that you guys are. We opted for a tag axle because it gives us the option of adding a lift for the Shark (my Road Glide Ultra). We're on the fence between the Hydralift and the Cruiserlift and are tending toward the Cruiserlift because it's not as much of a permanent addition as the Hydralift is. In your video you say that you discarded the idea of the lift because of weight. For us, we have a CCC of 9100lbs, and with the bike loaded and full tanks, that leaves us with 5500, which is more than the GD Momentum 376THS would have had empty. I'm really interested in how far you went down the road of looking at the lifts and whether it was more than just weight that caused you to opt out of that. Also, did you get to the point of deciding which lift you would choose if you went with one, and why? So you know, your decision to switch to a Class A has been a big influence in our own decision to switch our plans from a GD Momentum to a Class A and we're really grateful for your perspectives that have really helped us. We'd love to meet up with you two sometime and I'd love to go for a ride with you.
Hey guys! Thanks for watching and hope the Newmar works out. They seem to be awesome rigs. I didn't look at the lifts to much after we weighed and figured where we would be with the lift so Im sorry I can't provide any good feedback on them. But with that Tag, you shouldn't have any issues :) Love to meet you guys down the road as well, all the best to y'all!
We are in the process of setting up a similar rig. 39' mh w/20' extended tongue trailer. Think we may be crawling out the back door of our Jeep. Might I ask how wide your trailer is?
Awesome guys! Our trailer is 8.5 wide. Our friends next to us are able to open their jeep doors to exit so maybe you can as well. They have the same set up! All the best!
Are there brakes on both axels? At a KOA I met a fella with a lift in his trailer. I believe he kept a little Alfa roadster on the top and a “daily driver” on the bottom.
Hey Rabbi! Yes, both axels and all 4 wheels have brakes on them. Sounds like he had a "stacker" trailer. We looked at those but out of my price range :) Appreciate ya watching as always!
I bet that’s quite a cool sight seeing a huge rig like that going down the highway especially with how clean you keep things!!
We have really enjoyed the rig so far Steve, coming up on a year!

Wondering if the car tires line up with the trailer frame supports? Would not like tires on particle board without metal directly under them.
They line up pretty close FFL3801!
Could you put car in first and exit the front trailer door area?
Yes you could that, it would make the tongue weight excessive though, I like having most of the way to the car over the axles of the trailer.
Great looking trailer. I can't remember the trailer brand, that has a door, so no need to play NASCAR.
Yes sir! There are several out there with that option.
Nice setup 👌
Personal question. Your teeth look awesome, any tips, leads or advice where I can do mine? Hard to find trusted dentist. Thank you!
Thanks Alexander! We just use Crest Strips about twice a year. That's it for us....All the best!
What motorcycle chock is that it looks like it might be easier to remove the bike
Hey Aubrey, that chock is called "Wheeldock", its worked well so far.
Love this set up! Can’t believe someone scratched your new trailer 😡 how does that diesel do pulling everything? 👍🏼
Thanks Vince! I know right.....The 450 HP Cummins does great with it man, been on some steep mtns and its done great so far.
