My airpod 3rd gens shows the same serial number on box and case and the buds numbers are different. But when it connects to phone it shows "not your airpods 3" is it fake one?somebody please reply 🙏
Sound quality is how I’ve been able to tell,but then again I have authentic Apple AirPods Pro 1& 2,AirPod 3,AirPod 1,2 & 3 to compare against all purchased from Apple.I’m an audiophile I use my AirPods all day everyday
Actually the most easy official way is by settings -> you go to settings then about then ware your airpods if they show up in ( settings + about) then they are real . End of story because no one controls settings
Good video bro anyway you could upload a video of the flashlight test on the inside of the top hinge. On the originals there should be hardware in the middle and two magnets one on each side appearing on the original, supposedly on the fake there is only the middle hardware and no magnets on each side
Yes!I had to be the bearer of bad news to a seller on marketplace that the AirPod pros she thought were authentic weren’t when I showed her the flashlight test on the case then showed her other clues that AirPods Pro’s were fake then showed her online to back up what I was telling her and I showed her my authentic AirPods Pro’s in comparison she took it pretty well,but felt bad about listing them as authentic.Told her to not feel so bad about because she wasn’t the first person to be duped and wouldn’t be the last.She asked what I’d do with the fake AirPods I told her if she had any kids in her family I’d give the AirPods to them.
I had bought an open pair when I take them out the orange light don’t come in but in the Bluetooth settings the warranty information comes up and all the other stuff you said should be real jives up so would you still consider them real even though the orange light don’t come on? They seem totally legit to me

Thanks for the video but I believe the orange light comes on when the AirPod case needs to charge.
When you open them for the first time it should shine white even without clicking the button
It’s both it’s orange when you take them both out and when you first put them both in. But it also does that when it’s charging time.
Orange light doesn’t clarify anything 😂 it means you need to charge your case
I bought the originals and the orange light blinks only when the battery is low thanks for the video though

Meanwhile they modified the settings, so no more Airpod3 Pro settings are visible but as well there is no find me option choosable. It’s missing.
The orange light on the real one is because the battery low on the case . When the battery full it stays green
there is chinese writing on the first page of the paperwork on the fake one if you compare to the real one
