Oh! how so unrestrained Bach Music it is. I would feel that's quite likely to neoromanticism style Bach, Yeah! incredible style, it's a far cry from traditional type of 20cent. Crescendo and Diminuendo and Crescendo and diminuendo. veryvery beautiful long tone with whole bow length. passionate, aggressive, undulating so much. (91yrs.Japanese) especially with special bowing articulation. I was moved so much.
Wow! I've been listening to different players on this piece. Z lives in his own space. He's not playing fast, but the energy whisked me through this so as to keep me losing my place on the score. I couldn't watch the score because of all the cool ideas. One surprise was a different low note in the 3rd beat of bar 3: E-natural instead of E-flat. ????? a mystery! Is there a book in English that explains that?
Taste can and should be different,of course=but it is not true that only one understands bachs masterpieces...this is an insult to all fine violinists playing them with soul and natural musicality!
Phantastisch 👌
Bach and all others. He is the best violine of all.
