The man considered by many to be the greatest batsman of all time, Sachin Tendulkar, has told the BBC his century against England in 2008 was the best of his career. Just to warn you there is some flash photography coming up. Tendulkar retired from the sport last year having become the first man to score 100 international centuries. He's just published his autobiography detailing a career that spanned more than twenty years. He says his century in Chennai meant a lot as it came just after the Mumbai terror attacks.

Good interview of Sachin. He certainly has changed the face of cricket . What a career and most importantly what a personality. From the age of 17 to the age of 40 he lived a life without any controversies. True gentleman and True Indian. Thank you Sachin for being an inspiration!

These foreign interviewers are so much more neutral and objective than Indian interviewers. Really enjoyed the interview.

16:20 "To bring the best out of them, you got to give them freedom, [the] license to fall in love with cricket which he is in love with cricket. You got to just go out and express yourself, not worry about performances and technique all the time. That will happen. With the experience and maturity, you'll learn how to play cricket. First, cricket has to be in your heart, and then it finds its way to your brain where it teaches you how to get wickets and how to score ruts. But the most important thing is to be madly in love with cricket." #quotes
