Super helpful, as I just started running zero mission myself. Edit: that being said, I go to subscribe and find more videos on the subject only to find that this is a one off video. Many disappoint my friend. I would like to hear more about Zero Mission speedrun tricks specifically
I'd recommend checking out the zero mission page on speedrun.com if you haven't yet, there are a ton of guides there. There should also be a link to the discord with lots of helpful people who love Mondays. I stopped running this game a few years ago because my controller of choice, the GBA SP, started to really hurt my hands and wrists, and I haven't found another controller that feels good for wall jumping yet. Maybe someday.
Very interesting! I didn't know you could do the wall jump technique in Zero Mission. I usually use the bomb jump technique to get places, like to get the Varia Suit before Norfair.
@@lancelotisawsome Yeah, Game design wise, Zero Mission is NUUUUUUUUUUUUTZ, especially once you get into 15% runs and stuff, seeing what they all thought about is insane. But Fusion has a lotta beautiful scenery, a couple of bangers, not only Kraid's Theme, some relatively ambitious story telling for a gba game and generally can instill fear when you are playing it for the first time. Again for a GBA game this is kinda unheard of, it's the real deal.
DUDE THAT WAS AWESOME. I fucking love metroid, I'm so gonna try these things out
Lol I am subscribed to you 8 years later and never knew you liked metroid.

This is excellent if you are trying to do the game as fast as you can but not if a 100 percent run
nice to see people still commenting about zero mission even 7 years after the video
@@stellaperez6883 ❤️❤️
This is a god with his technique.
Bruh u can skip the chozo statue in the beginning of the video
But after you kill Ridley, how do you go back?
Commenting for the algorithm
i'd probably get varia before fighing ridley then kraid
How do you get out of the area without screw attack where Ridley is I am stuck there
The Tranquil Assassin on the platform below the screw attack blocks, there is a block on the wall that you can missle.
Great ending
watch the guy beat it in 26:58
This would be really informative if I played the game.
Lol I know most of theses
Why would they run Metroid Fusion but not this game? Metroid Fusion sucks compared to this one, especially for speed running!
MM!! Only the second part of your statement is true.
